"Agh!" Bucky screamed as he threw the contents of his table across the room.  

He put his head in his hands and let the tears fall, he would rip HYDRA apart from the inside to find you.

He felt so helpless, worthless. How could he have been having a nice time in a luxury tower with Steve while you were under HYDRA's control? While they tortured you, messed with your mind.

His little sister, his own little sister, had been turned into a killer, and he couldn't bare it.

Y/n had been his world , yesterday all he would have wanted was for her to be alive, but now he wasn't sure if death would have been a more merciful fate.

He cried for what felt like hours but was probably only minutes

Then there came a faint knock from his door. He didn't answer, he didn't even look up, he just wanted to be alone. He didn't think he could pretend to be strong right then.

"Buck?" Steve asked as he poked his head around the door

He looked at Bucky's back as he hid his face in his hands and sat at his desk.

Sympathy filled Steve, he knew what Bucky was going though, not only was he was going through the same thing but he had already gone thorough it once before.

"Hey man" steve said as he took a few steps into the room

Bucky still didn't reply, he just let out a few silent sobs which made his back shake.

Steve walked over and sat at the foot of Bucky's bed. He wasn't quite sure where to begin. He too had been crying but he needed to be strong, for Bucky's sake at least.

A few minutes passed. Bucky continued to cry and Steve listened waiting for an opportunity to say something, or maybe waiting for Bucky to be ready to talk.

The silence became deafening so Steve decided he may at least try.

"Buck, I-" he began

"I'm sorry Steve"

"What?" Steve asked

"I guess, maybe, this is what you had to go through with me. And-and I-i mean I didn't recognise you. I'm sorry" Bucky turned to look at Steve who had a shocked expression on his face

There was a moments pause then Steve began

"You shouldn't be sorry, it wasn't     your fault. It was HYDRA's. I know what your going through, it does make me cross with you, I makes it even more amazing that you are here. And I promise you, I will do everything I can to get her back to us"

Bucky gave Steve a thankful look and got up from his desk to sit next to Steve on the bed.

He wiped his face and took a deep breath, trying to compose himself a bit. He needed to pull himself together, or he would never find you.

"Do you know how we are going to get her back?" He asked

"I don't know, but if anyone does I bet it will be tony. He's the science man, he might know how to stop her from getting away by, you know? Walking through a wall or something" steve said

He and Bucky stood up and made their way to the lab.

-time skip-

"Knock knock" steve said as he walked into Tony's lab with Bucky trailing behind him

"You don't say 'knock knock' you do the knock knock" Tony's voice came from under some kind of structure in the middle of the room

Steve could see his feet sticking out of the side and he would have laughed but then he remembered he had something important to discuss

"Tony, can we talk to you?" He asked

Tony rolled out on a little rolling table and sat up, looking at the two desperate men, who needed answers. He took note of the fact they both looked like they had been crying

"Sure cap" he said as he stood up and walked over to a counter, where he began to wipe oil of his hands.

"Do you know how we will get y/n?" Bucky said

"I have a theory, if you want to hear it" tony said

"Yes please" steve said taking a few more steps closer to Tony

"Well," tony began "in order to move though solid objects, walls,bullets you know? that stuff. Well in order to do that she would had to disperse the particles that make up her body, into a different chemical element- that of a gas. And in order to change a gas back into a solid you have to apply pressure. So I was thinking we could make her walk into a pressurised room, so she would be able to get in but not out. Basically a trap, but it's for her own good."

"Brilliant!" Steve said

"However it is just a theory, I don't actually know how she makes her body go all, I don't know the word, but I don't know how she does it, it is just a theory" he said, hoping not to get their hopes up

"Right" steve said a little disheartened

"So,are you going to build it, the room thing?" Bucky asked

"Yeah, I already started" tony said and he pointed to the structure that he was working on when Bucky and Steve walked in

"Oh" steve said

"Will it be difficult?" Bucky asked

"No not massively, You just have to make the walls really dense so they won't collapse under the pressure" Tony said with a shrug

"Thank you tony" steve said, looking thankfully at tony

"Don't worry, can't have to team leader stressed to the brink of literally   loosing it all over again can we?" He laughed and Bucky shot a look at steve that Steve decided to ignore

"Ok now all we need is a strategy"
