In which Peter is afraid of spiders

It was a slow day for the Avengers, and everybody was bored. Bruce and Tony were fidgeting with something, Pepper was at a meeting, Natasha and Clint were watching tv, Steve and Bucky went on a run and Wanda was reading a book. Usually, Peter would be the one to find them something to do, but he was nowhere to be seen.

"Tonyyyy, where is Peterrr?" Clint whines for the fifth time that minute, and as again, Tony's answer is the same.

"I don't know, he was supposed to be home two hours ago but he isn't, meaning he's in trouble." Clint groans, throwing his head back. He and Natasha weren't even watching anything interesting, out of all the things Nat wanted to watch the Desperate Housewives. Seriously.

Suddenly they hear a shriek. They instantly run to the source of the sound and are surprised when they realize it came from Peters room. Before opening the door they wait behind it, just in case. They hear a pound onto the ground and screaming, and that's too much for Tony to hear coming from his son's room so he bursts into the room to see Peter in the center of the ceiling and a bunch of small spiders all over his room.

"What the fuck Peter?" Tony says and is about to say more but Steve interrupts.

"Language. Why are you on the ceiling?" Peter sighs, and then starts talking.

"There was a huge spider that came out from my closet, and I basically screamed." He paused to see the others nodding for him to go on. "And I wanted to kill it, so I dropped a book on it and let it be for a bit. I took it off when I thought it was safe, but when I did a bunch of smaller ones ran everywhere, an-" he looks on the ceiling next to him to see a few spiders coming his way, eyes widened and he started moving away from them, talking faster. "And I screamed again andjumpedontheceiling-AHHH!" He screamed as he notices spiders on almost every surface he could jump on. He looks over at Clint to see him inside the room, laughing his ass off at Peter being scared of spiders. And decides to jump on Clint, and from there out of the room.

"AH!" Now its Clint's turn to scream because he didn't see it coming, making all the others laugh out loud too, even Natasha.

One thing Peter knew for sure, and it was that nobody was going to let this go, and rather use it against him. He was right because for the next week he found fake spiders everywhere in the compound.
