Avengers Oneshots

In which the Avengers find out about Peter at the worst time possible

Note: in this Peter is Tony and Pepper's biological son, but none of the avengers nor SHIELD know of him exept for Rhodey because he knows more about Tonys life than Tony does.

Peter walks into the living area yelling hello, only to find a bunch of Avengers there, looking his way. "Where are Tony and Pepper?" Instead of an answer he gets a question.

"Who are you?" Steve asks Peter, his voice cracking, something Peter didnt think Steves voice could really do. Upon closer inspection he notices that Steve is crying. Really everybody in the room exept for himself has shed at least a few tears. Because of the long wait after Steves question, he asks again. "Who are you? How did you even get in here?"

"Im- uh -Tonys s-" he looks over at Rhodey to see him shaking his head. Peter looks back at Steve to see everybody waiting patiently. "Im telling you if you tell me where Tony and Pepper are first." Everybody immidiately shakes their head. "Why not?"

"Because we dont know who you ar-" Natasha gets cut off by Rhodey walking over to Peter, and putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Peter," well now the Avengers know his name. "I dont know how to tell you this," he wipes away a tear from his face that has fallen, his voice shaking by now. "Tony and Pepper are..." He looks down at the floor, not able to look Peter in the eye right now. He needs to be strong for the boy, hes his only family left. "Uhh..." He takes a seep breath and looks up at Peter. "Tony and Pepper are gone." Peters eyes widen in shock.

"What do you mean gone? They went to a meeting to Italy and were supposed to be back today, what do you mean they're gone? Did they stay for longer?" They both stay quiet for a while, Peters eyes welling up with tears. Speaking again, his voice quivers, barely a whisper. "Please tell me they stayed for longer." All the Avengers heard it, their hearts breaking for the boy, without knowing a lot about him. Rhodey looks up at him, and shakes his head. "They're dead?" And once Rhodey nods, tears start to stream down Peters face, nodding. "I'll be in my room."

"Peter," Rhodey calls out to him knowing hes not going to be in his room but rather out as Spiderman. He turns around, looking at Rhodey expectantly. "Dont. Just, dont. Please. You arent doing that right now because I forbid you." Clint stands up and starts talking.

"Yeah. Thats never the answer," he says talking about something extremely different until Rhodey tells him to shut up. "Okay." And sits back down. Rhodey looks at Peter, and he sighs.

"Fine. I just need to be alone." Rhodey nods and Peter leaves to his room.

Before anybody could ask, Rhodey answers. "He is Peter, Tony and Pepper's son. Biological." He adds sternly, looking at Clint and Natasha. "And no I just didnt talk him out of suicide or self harm or anything," he sees a red and blue figure swing by the windows behind the Avengers and smiles because the kid is just like Tony in a way, stubborn and never listens. "I didnt talk him out of anything." And with that he walks off, leaving behind a bunch of confused Avengers.

Its my first day of school tomarrow, and I'm going to die. So i dont know how many updates there will be because of me stressing out over 2 projects (one of which includes going to a foreign country), exams and graduation from one of the schools I go to. I'm seriously going to die this year thank you very much.
