Chapter 5: Getting Along

(Alicia's POV)

I was just about to go see Bulkhead for our weekly drive down the hill thing, when I spotted Bumblebee, the team scout. He's so cute! Big, but cute! I thought for a moment, 'Woah there Alicia! Slow down! A robot and a human? Not gonna happen.' I thought. But I didn't listen to it anyways. I went over to Bumblebee when Raf wasn't there, and I said, "Hi..." in a soft and cute tone. "Hi!" He said, I thought Optimus and the others said he lost his voice in war? Raf can hear him, maybe so can I! "Umm... Do you wanna go out for a drive with me?" I asked. "Sure, let me just get Raf-" "No! Can we go alone? Just the two of us?" I asked cutting him off. "Uhhh...ok." he replied. 'Yes!' I thought.

We got back in base, me leaving to see my guardian. "Well, what have you been doing?" Viper asked me raising a metal brow. "Umm.... Can you be Raf's guardian and Bumblebee my guardian?" I asked. "No, Raf's a child, your what? 16?" she asked. "15" I corrected. "Yes, yes, anyways, Raf loves Bumblebee as family too much to be switched around. You can always hang out with Bumblebee when not needed, but when you are needed for battle, or for a mission, you need to come with me. Got it?" Viper said. "Ugh... Your acting like my mother! FYI, I didn't choose to have you as my guardian!" I said. "Yea, FYI, I was the only available autobot left! Ratchet's a medic, he can't be a guardian, and Optimus is, well, he can't hang around all day to be someone's guardian!" Viper said. "Do you even know what FYI means?" I said. "For your information." she answered. "How do you?" I stuttered. "Know? I have a backstory that's not believable for any humans."
