we went for a coffee after that. talked about each other's fears, ambitions, likes, ideas, and even some secrets. i would her hear laugh and smile from time to time and thought i would never get used to something this ethereal.
an hour became two and then instantly became three. it was midnight, and i couldn't care less as we dig deeper onto each other's lives. the moment wasn't like a movie, there wasn't any sparks and slow-motions, nor any fireflies and background music. it was just us making hours feel like minutes as we talk.
what stopped time was when she brought up something i've been meaning to ask since earlier, "i'll be leaving in two days."
