"What time is it?" I wondered, still sitting in my seat with Joshua at my side.

My entire body twitched when Joshua told me the time.

"Shit! We have like an hour and a half to get to the place!" I yelled, jumping from my seat.

Joshua did the exact same thing, but the action was interrupted by a thundering sneeze. I stopped on my tracks and I pivoted back to face him.

"You're not getting..." I trailed off, distantly horrified at the thought.

Joshua spoke at the same moment, "I think I'm getting-"

His statement was cut off by another sneeze. That answered my unspoken question.

"Oh, no, no, no. Lanning will kill me if you get sick!" I yelled in a terrified tone. His sneezing was an obvious result of our victory kiss. Not much of a victory now if it was the reason I could lose my job. Ironically, I sneezed a few moments later, with just as much vigor.

"Lilly, I can't get sick. Getting sick prevents me from doing photoshoots." Joshua said, pained.

It was not looking good. Joshua didn't need to finish his train of thought. We both knew what less photoshoots and runway walks meant.

We were the last people to leave the plane. We hadn't brought any luggage, so we wasted no time in picking anything up. During that time, I was constantly thinking of ways to cure Joshua to prevent him having a full blown cold. I whipped out my phone and started to Google quick remedies for the both of us.

My searching was interrupted when I received a text from Johnny.

Nice work Darling <3 Don't worry I'll let Lanning know that you couldn't make it. - Johnny

I read the text and became infuriated the more I continued to read.  If that asshole thought that I had failed, then he had another thing coming! If there was one thing that I took particular pleasure in doing, it was proving people wrong. I formulated a plan quickly in my head.

"Let's rent a car." I spoke, grabbing hold of Joshua's arm. I tried to ignore the tingles I got and the way my heart started to beat a little faster. I was just holding his freaking arm and already I was ready to have a love seizure. Guess I couldn't blame the women who went crazy when Joshua took off his shoes in the security check.

"So, we're not getting a cab?" Joshua asked, clearly thrown off by my change of plans. It also sounded like I wasn't the only one planning. What was he up to?

"No, Duh." I spoke, attention on the nearest rental station.

We finally picked the first one that came into view. Joshua immediately started talking to the employee, going as far as pulling out his wallet.

Usually, I took the reins in anything concerning transportation, but Joshua had gotten our cab during the New Year's event.

I figured that he had turned on a new leaf and took the opportunity to search more remedies on the web. I stumbled upon a particularly helpful site and focused my attention on that. By the time that my head actually popped back up, Joshua was already being handed car keys.

"Wow, I'm impressed, Lachowski." I observed, in a surprised tone. He hadn't even wasted time.

Joshua winked, before speaking, "To the Batmobile!"

I giggled at how dorky he was being, especially when he held his arm out for me to take.

I took it for the sake of playing along. We walked out into the parking lot, following the directions on the ticket that had been handed to Joshua. We searched for the parking space number, until a simple coupe came into view.
