"You have a girlfriend?"

"This is why I love listening to your conversations."

"Oh babe, uhm, I can't do this over the phone."

"Do what?"

"Don't play dumb, Sam."

"I'm such a terrible guy, out of that whole night I never asked you the one simple question I've wanted to ask you for like forever?"

"What question?"

"Ignore her stupidity."

"Yeah, I'm ignoring it."

"Not my fault if I'm trying to seriously apologise and you're joking around."

"Actually I can. Lucas, do you want Samantha to be your girlfriend?"

"Samantha, do you want Lucas to be your boyfriend?"

"Great. I now pronounce you boyfriend and girlfriend, you may kiss the girl."

"Is that official? Was that an official ceremony?"

"I think so."

"So you're my girlfriend?"

"And you're my boyfriend."

"You guys are so damn cute, I need a tissue."

"Why is she even here?"

"If she wasn't, we wouldn't be together."

"Well, we would. It just would've taken a longer time."

"So what you're trying to say is I'm irrelevant?"

"That's an exaggeration, but yes."

"I'm interrupting another moment, goddammit."

"Watch out, I'm gonna snatch Gilbert Blythe from you."

"Oh! I just remembered, Sammy told me today I'm apparently meeting you tomorrow?"

"Yeah, I mean, if you'd like."

"Oh thank goodness, because I really didn't want to meet you. Like, seeing you in person would be absolutely traumatising-"

"Okay! Yes I would love to meet you. Have we got any plans?"

"Uh, no not really. Lucas did you have anything in mind?"

"So I'll collect you in the morning, Samantha. Maybe around 11? Then I have a couple things planned that I'm gonna keep as a surprise."

"Oh, tell me!"

"Yeah, I'll whisper it to you."

"Emma oh my gods you're so dumb! Don't lean to the phone like he's actually gonna whisper it."

"She fell for that?"

"She did. What a dumbass."

"I'm constantly bullied by both of you."

"You love it, though. But then I was thinking about you joining us for a meal in the evening, Emily?"

"That'd be amazing. Anywhere in particular?"

"You guys can chose, I don't mind."

"Okay."

"They're calling me! I've gotta go guys, sorry, see you tomorrow."

"See ya, pretty boy."
