You came along
Zooming in
Filling the room
With your decay from within.
While panning closer
Your shiny veneer was removed
Like cheapened wood
Your façade came unglued.
Your words like lighting
Became thunderous screams
Like flickering lights
Your immaturity beams.
Your accusations
Smeared with disgust
The true puppet master revealed
The moment you broken my trust.
Keep shoving the blade
Deep in my back
Twisting and turning
Your hatred intact.
To be petty and jealous
Such deadly sins
Can ruin a friendship
With no way to mend.
The last tear has fallen
Rolled onto the floor
With no guilt or regret
The door has been closed.

Through the Looking Glass
PoetryA series of poems; where I let out my emotions as they teeter between what I've been told to believe and how I truly feel.
