You played with my heart,

You played with my mind,

You controlled me by monopolizing my time.

You lied,

You cheated,

You nearly broke my heart,

Until I decided to take back what was mine from the start.

I decided that my body would no longer be yours to control,

My heart would now be solely my own.

I can take and give it to whomever I wish.

Revenge would be mine,

If I chose to deliver the dish.

I realize now that to shed one more tear,

Would just be a waste of my prescious time, my dear.

I see now that you were never fully mine,

It was a lie that you fed me to keep me inline,

So please don’t concern me,

With your childish petty games.

It is funny how I don’t look at you the same.

It’s saddens me to think of all the time laid to waste,

Craving your touch, your body, your taste.

Don’t worry for me,

Cause you see I move fast.

My heart is nearly healed,
