cliche, much?

dear mom,

i don't even know how long it's been.

a month?

a year?

a week?

a day?

honestly i don't have a clue of what time of the day it is.

today's February 14th though,

valentines day sadly.

now that i think about it,

aaron would come over each year,

on this day with a huge amount of flowers,

and cherry flavored lollipops.

it was nice of him.

but today at school,

it's just another holiday for me to feel upset,

knowing i won't be able to see aaron again with this amount of flowers and lollipops,

with that silly trademark smile of his.

i miss him.

i guess i missed him so badly,

that i ended up bumping into adam.

adam was holding this rose,

and a few balloons,

and i had to calm my nerves knowing how balloons just freak me out.

"oh hey ann!

just the girl i wanted to see,

here's something for you."

he held out the rose with a smile,

before running away bright in the face.

i stared awkwardly at the rose that i was holding,

and noticed a card which was on it.

i held onto the card and opened it up to read something like

"your eyes are like the stars,

they shine ever so bright in the night sky.

so how about being the stars in my night,

and grabbing a can of soda tonight when the stars start shining?

(8 p.m?)

oh yeah and hey i just met you and this is crazy, so here's number, so call me maybe?

555-555-5555"

woah.

that was awkwardly cliche.

i kept the card into my pocket and held the rose in my hand,

when benedict ran over to me,

and held out a bouquet of flowers,

in there were lillies.

"hey annabelle.

um.

take these."

he pushed the flowers in my arm and ran off.

i looked down and saw another card.

eh,

what is there to lose.

"hey.

you're pretty.

bye."

this definitely describes benedict.

i laughed at this knowing how it made my day become a huge amount of joy,

before i knew it iz, lexie and alicia ran over to me with gifts in their arms.

lexie having the most,

an proudly enjoying it.

"oh,

who gave you those?

perhaps your boyfriend?"

lexie winked at me,

which made my cheeks flush.

"actually adam an benedict.

you have got to read adam's card,

and benedicts!"

i showed them the cards,

and lexie swooned over adam's words,

while the rest of the girls were laughing at how straight forward benedict was with his card.

we ended up going to class,

finishing class,

and still laughing about it even if benedict and adam were next to us.

and when cedric picked me up,

he had this huge teddy bear,

with red lollipops for me.

best day ever.

love,

ann
