Chapter 6 - An Extra?

Jai's POV

EVERY MAID were busy doing different chores. While me? I don't know, I'm just standing at the corner while watching them. May mga lumilingon sa'kin pero mabuti na lang at hindi ako kinakausap. I wonder why? They might be afraid of me. I laughed with a low voice so I won't get any attention, baka mapagkamalan pa akong may sayad.

Napatalon ako nang may biglaang yumakap sa baywang ko. He even put his chin above my shoulder. Sa pagbilis ng tibok ng puso ko ay alam kong siya 'to. Siya lang naman ang may kapal ng mukha na gagawin sa'kin 'to. He's really difficult to deal with. Hindi ko alam kung seseryosohin niyang gawin akong pantwo time sa fiancée niya.

Tatlong araw din  simula nang huli kaming magkausap. Minsan ay hindi siya umuuwi, minsan naman ay wala na din siya tuwing umaga. I have no idea why he's so busy, it's also none of my business to know.

"You're doing nothing, why?" he whispered and sniffed my hair. Such a sweet gesture if we're in a relationship but we're not.

Sinubukan kong magpumiglas pero wala din itong naging epekto. I frowned, he hugged me tightly. Hindi ko na talaga alam ang gagawin ko sa lalaking 'to. I don't want to continue falling for him until I drowned and he's not helping!

"Why are you still angry, Jai? Did I made you jealous of Amixel?"

I was stunned. Binanggit na naman niya ang fiancée niya. Is it obvious that I'm jealous? Gosh, bakit ko hinayaang mahalata niya? Kaya niya ba ako pinakikitunguhan nang ganito dahil alam niyang mahina ako pagdating sa kanya? He's taking advantage of me, isn't he?

A sudden pain hits my chest but I immediately tore it off. I'm becoming paranoid and it's troublesome. I should just disregard my thoughts. They don't even make sense.

"Jealous your big face. Please, just let me go."

Ayokong makita kami ng mga maids sa ganitong posisyon, some of them are already looking at us.

"Are you afraid that they'll gossip about us? C'mon Jai, wala naman silang lakas ng loob na kontrahin ang mga ginagawa ko," he said with a smug tone.

"You're so proud of yourself, aren't you?" I said because of disbelief, but on the other hand, I want to laugh.

"I'm proud of myself because I could support companies and varieties of businesses but it's myself who I should support the most," he explained which I didn't expect. Did he just took my question seriously?

Isiniksik niya pa lalo ang ulo niya sa leeg ko kasabay ng pamumuo ng maliit na ngiti sa labi ko. Nang mapagtantong nakangiti ako ay agad kong binalik sa hugis blanko ang labi ko. I think I'm loosing my mind.

"Can you now spread your arms away from me so I can go?" sabi ko bago pa 'ko maging komportable sa puwesto naming dalawa. Huminga ako nang malalim nang hindi siya magsalita.

"Hindi mo naman siguro nakakalimutang may fiancée ka, hindi ba?"

Kasi ako, tandang-tanda ko pa.

I blinked when Drake stiffened. I guess I just hit the belt below, good. Gusto ko nang kumawala sa mga bisig niya, hindi magandang ideya ang pananatili dito.

"Okay," he whispered.

Nakahinga ako nang maluwag pero agad ring nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang lumapat ang labi niya sa leeg ko. What the h.ck? He is trying to leave a mark again!

Bago pa man magrehistro sa utak ko ang ginagawa niya ay tuluyan na niya akong binitawan. D.mn, that was too fast! I can't even feel my feet to move!

"Put all of your attentions here," he announced just like how a commander talks. Nag-echo pa ang boses nito na dinig na dinig sa bawat tahimik na sulok ng mansyon.
