"Brace yourself" Castor says before jogging and slowly getting faster and faster before flying into the air, getting higher and higher and doesn't stop until they are above the white fluffy clouds that cover the bright blue sky.
Dylan laughs quietly, wind blowing his hair around.
As castor reaches a normal and peaceful speed, the wind gets more soft, flying just above the cloud line.
The sun shines over them, casting a glow on the two, smiles on both faces.
Putting his head down, Dylan nuzzles Castor's neck gently.
Castor smiles and sighs in content.

"Thanks, Cassie," Dylan yawns softly
"For what?" he asks
"Saving me- my prince," he giggles
"You mean your handsome knight in shining armor?" he chuckles
"Yeah. That too,"
"I'm pretty sure you're my prince Dylan..." he laughs
"I'm fine with that." He smiles back, leaning into the touch

Dylan's feathers brush castors, he smiles in the pastel light.
Castor closes his eyes and savors the moment.
Dylan smiles, memorizing the scene in front of him. He looks at Castor, memorized how each muscle moves, and the soft breeze against his raven hair.
His expression, the softness of his face, everything.

"We're getting close to the place" he says looking back at Dylan
"Alright.." Dylan continues just watching

Minutes later they arrive at a rather large apartment complex. They become visible to the humans.
Dylan folds his wings back, stumbling slightly on his leg.

"Go sit down over there and wait for me to get the key" Castor says motioning towards the chairs along the side
"Okay.."

He limps over, sitting down.
Castor walks over to the front desk, putting on a smile when he sees the older lady sitting behind the desk.
Dylan fidgets with his fingers, looking down.

"Hello miss, key for Charles Curtley?" He asks

Overhearing, he tilts his head. He doesn't know who Castor is talking about.
While Castor gets the room key, Dylan's sister seeps back into his mind.

"That's his cover name Dylan"
"Oh." Dylan says softly "Wait, how do you know so much about him?" he looks insane- talking to himself.
Her voice giggles in his head, "my much younger brother has a soulmate and you think I'm not going to do my research?" She asks playfully
"You.." he blushes, "Are the most protective sister. Ever."
"Well duh. Good thing you got a protective soulmate or else I would be visiting you every hour! Be glad he's yours!...not that you aren't which I know you are but still." Her voice holos out
"You are soooo annoying. Get outta my business!"
He slides to a lay, grabbing his head in his hands again.
"Haha ok bye little brother!" Her voice slowly fades out.

He sighs, sitting back up slowly.

"Hey, I'm back!" Castor says cheerfully to Dylan
"Hey Cassie," Dylan stands
"Let's get ya to a bed." He smiles walking toward a hallway with rooms.

Dylan follows- blushing not to look at castor's butt.
Castor opens a door with a key to show an elegant apartment with luxurious furniture and candles. Along with a big window to look out into the city. Dylan's eyes widen, he steps in slowly and looks around.

Castor smiles, "you like it?"
Dylan quickly nods
Glancing at the bed, "You're really gonna like the bed." Castor says eyeing Dylan.
He blushes, "Errr..." blush deepening, realizing there is only one bed
"Is something wrong?" Castor asks
"N-nope!"
Dylan walks in, going to the bathroom- getting his first look at himself since the fight he goes up to the mirror, sighing and grabbing the towel. Turning the faucet on, he gets the towel wet- pressing it into the open wounds. He bites his lip, looking at his wing

"Stupid..." He shakes his head, grabbing a few more things that wouldn't be traditionally used for medicine but using them anyway- he knows what to use due to fixing himself up from abuse and his mother.
"What's stupid?" Castor asks looking at Dylan through the mirror.
"Me." he continues fixing himself up.

Castor walks over to the basket of supplies and finds the bandage, and starts wrapping them around Dylan's wing.

"you are not stupid!" He exclaims looking deep into Dylan's eyes
"I am, For getting back up. For running. For not running from them."
"Dylan, what happened happened and you can't change it! Don't beat yourself up over this! This best thing to think is that you didn't get hurt anymore than you did." Castor tries

Staying silent, Dylan just continues fixing himself.
Castor sighs and finishes wrapping Dylan's wing. He walks behind Dylan and rests his head on Dylan's shoulder, wraps his arms around his waist, close to his ear and says,

"you're perfect" before kissing Dylan's cheek
"You are brave. So much more than me," he sighs, shaking slightly
"Shhh, come love. You need sleep." Castor says before walking over to the bed.
Dylan blushes, following slowly at the nickname.
Castor gets on the bed and lays down. He watches and waits for Dylan.
Dylan hesitates before laying down near him, but not touching.
Castor turns in his side and turns off the light.
Dylan stays still, not sure how comfortable castor is and not wanting to test it.
After a few minutes of laying still, Dylan gets closer to Castor, laying his arm over Castors hip, nuzzling his face in Castors back.
Dylan opens his eyes and looks at Castor one last time before falling asleep in the shared warmth.
