The start of a very exciting week.
The next morning, I was so excited to get up na gising na ko at 7 in the morning. I decided to have my morning jog first. Pagbaba ko, dumiretso agad ako sa kitchen to fill up my tumbler. I was surprised na gising na si Sarah.
She was pacing back and forth infront of the kitchen table.
'Good morning.' I said
'Good morning din. Pasensya na kakagising ko lang, ngayon pa lang ako magluluto.'
She was wearing a pink cotton pajama. Siguro amoy kama pa to. The thought made me smiled a little.
'Hala gutom ka na nga talaga, ngumingiti ka na mag-isa dyan eh.'
I smiled at her. 'Magjogging lang ako.'
'Okay.'
Ang sarap naman magising kung ganto naman ang umaga mo. I took my jog exercise for 30 minutes and a little stretching as well. Pagbalik ko sa bahay, napansin kong nagluluto pa rin si Sarah at mukhang tulog pa din si Cobbe. Bumalik muna ako sa kwarto and took a shower.
I went back to the kitchen at nadatnan kong nasa high chair na si Cobbe and eating biscuits. Pumunta na ko sa table at umupo sa upuan na katabi ni Cobbe.
'Right on time. Ready na ang breakfast mo kamahalan.' And she puts the plates infront of me one by one.
Sinangag.
Bacon and eggs.
Hotdogs.
Orange Juice.
'Kain na.' She said and smiled.
Ang sarap naman neto.
'Tara kain na tayo.' While putting some fried rice and bacons on my plate.
'Sige kumain ka na. Mag-aayos na ko, maaga pa kong pupunta sa shop.' She puts down her apron and she's out of the room.
Tumingin lang ako kay Cobbe at napatingin din sya sa akin. Then I started eating my breakfast.
Sarap. Ganto pala feeling ng may asawa. Asawa ka dyan Gerald.
Aftern an hour, bumaba na si Sarah but not on her chef uniform.
She was wearing a sexy violet dress and black high heeled sandals.
Beautiful as ever.
Pinilit kong iwasan syang titigan so I paid attention on watching the news on TV.
'Ge yung number sa shop, sinulat ko na post it. Andun sa may fridge. Mga 11 am nasa shop na ko, dadaan pa kasi ako sa client ko. Yung number ng doktor ni Cobbe, if ever, nilagay ko na rin. Tawagan mo ko agad ah. Tsaka blah blah blah.'
Hindi ako makapagconcentrate sa kung ano man ang sinasabi nya. Im so busy looking at the most beautiful person I've ever seen in my life.
'Uy Ge, nakikinig ka ba?'
Buti na lang hindi sya nakatingin sa akin habang nagsasalita sya dahil may inaayos ata sya sa bag nya.
'Oo. nakikinig ako.'
'Siguraduhin mo lang. O aalis na ko. Tawagan mo ko agad ah!' Lumapit sya kay Cobbe. 'Bye baby! Sumbong mo si Papa saken pag hindi ka nya inalagaan mabuti ah.' She leaned on Cobbe and kissed him. Her sexyness is something to behold.
Tumalikod ako dahil naramdaman kong may biglang nabubuhay. 'Hindi kita masisisi.' I whispered to myself while looking down.
'Ge, may problema ba?' Sabi nya na akmang lalapit sakin.
'Wala!' I kinda of shouted. 'I mean wala,' I tried to lower my voice. 'Sige na umalis ka na, baka ma-late ka pa.'
At baka magbago pa ang isip ko at hindi kita palabasin ng bahay.
'Okay.' She said in a confused voice. 'Bye baby!' And she walked towards the entrance door.
'Muntik na ko dun baby.' Habang pinapahid ang namuong pawis sa noo ko. 'Kita mo ba? Ang sexy ng mama mo!' Cobbe giggled. 'Kaya bantayan naten yan ah! Lalo ka na, bantayan mo si mama para kay papa. Okay?' And I showed him a thumbs up.
Ginaya ni Cobbe kung kaya't parang pinipilit nya na mag-thumbs up din sakin.
It was nearly lunch time that I decided na sa labas na lang kami kakain ni Cobbe.
Habang sinasara ko ang gate ng house, a car parked outside and a woman in formal attire stepped out of the car. Sinalubong ko sya. 'Good afternoon, Ms. Sanchez!'
Isa si Ms. Sanchez sa in-charge sa custody ni Cobbe.
'Good afternoon, Mr. Anderson. May balita ako so I decided to tell you and Ms. Geronimo personally.;
'Sure but she's at the shop right now, if you like, we could go there and talked about it over coffee and cakes.'
'Sure sure.'
While inside the car, I decided to call Sarah just to give her a head-ups.
Nang makarating na kami sa pastry shop, napansin ko na medyo madaming tao. I entered with Cobbe in my arms. I saw Sarah and she looked my direction like she's asking for help. Sa ilang linggo na kasama ko sya sa bahay, madali lang kilalanin si Sarah its because she is a very transparent person. Nakikita mo agad sa mga mata nya yung nararamdaman nya. And wait, she's talking to someone, a guy.
'Ms. Sanchez, you could sit right here tatawagin ko lang si Sarah.' I guided her towards to the single couch in the corner.
'Ate Nikki, get Ms. Sanchez order.' I said to one of the servers.
'Sge po Sir.'
I walked towards Sarah and in just a few steps away, naririnig ko na kung anong sinasabi ng lalaki.
'Sarah, mag-usap naman tayo. Lets talk this through.'
'Ray wala na tayong dapat pag-usapan. Tapos na eh.' I looked at her. She's still hurting. At sa pag-uusap na un, alam ko na kung sino ang lalaking to. I have to do something.
'Sorry, I have to go.' Akmang aalis na sya pero hinawakan nya sa kamay si Sarah.
'Please?' He said.
'Ray, No.'
'Sarah please?' Hinatak na nya si Sarah.
"Pag sinabing hindi, wag mo ng pilitin.' I wrapped my free arms on Sarah's waist. 'Hi babe,' I softly kissed her hair. 'Something wrong?'
'Ge, this is Rayver.. an old friend.' The jerk. 'Rayver, this is Gerald..'
'The husband.' I interrupted. I showed a small, cool smile.
'Nice to meet you pare.' He offered a shake hand. I removed my hands on Sarah's waist and accepted it.
Tumingin ako kay Sarah and noticed a cute what-are-you-doing-Gerald smile. 'Come on babe, Naghihintay si Ms. Sanchez.'
'Oo nga pala. Sige Ray we have to go.' Umalis na kami para puntahan ang kinauupuan ni Ms. Sanchez.
'Thank you. For saving me.' She said.
'Wala yon. You'll do the same for me, if ever, right?'
She giggled a little. 'Siguro.' And we reached the table.
I smiled. Yes Im the husband now.
