Ugh. My parents aren't going to be home today. Perfect, that's exactly what I need, more alone time. Like I don't have enough of that.
I pulled a hand through my hair and laid on my bed. I closed my eyes and thought. No, more like went over why my life is complete and utter trash
Why do I have to be so unpopular. I have no friends. My parents are always working. I rarely ever get to see them. High school is a living hell and homework always seems to pile up more and more until the stack tips over. There is no point in trying anymore at this point
I just wish...I wish there would be a way to make my life easier. If had someone that I could hold on to and call mine and no one else's then this living hell would actually be bearable. But sadly there is no one that actually likes me and most people don't even know that I exist. I'm just wasting my time trying to push on like there isn't a problem. There is no hope
"There is my child." I heard a voice say but I knew there was no one here. Then there was a bright flash of white light in the center of my room
"Hello. How may I help you?"
"Who are you?"I looked at the guy in front of me. He had whitish blonde hair and pale skin which made his amber eyes shine noticeably. He wore a simple white robe like the ones people wore in ancient Egypt. The most incredible part of him was the huge white wings on his back.
"My name is Siren. I came to fulfill your greatest desire. What do wish?"
My mind suddenly started rushing back and forth. What should I ask for? I couldn't concentrate on anything appropriate with Siren standing in front of me. He was stunning and getting my mind to focus on anything but his beauty was near impossible. Then idiotically I said what first popped into my mind.
"I want you" oh shit! Why the hell did I say that?! Of all the this I could have reasonably asked for. My parents to come home more often; loyal friends; a boyfriend; a homework machine. But yet I asked a complete stranger to be mine
I could tell I confused Siren because of the surprised look on his face. I couldn't blame him. What I asked for was creepy beyond words. After a while of the most awkward silence in history Siren finally replied.
"Your wish is granted" What did I just get myself into?
