Chapter 12

Juvia Pov

My eyes shot open when I heard the sound of the door being closed. I sat up from the bed and looked around me, trying to recall what happened hours or minutes ago.

The walls looked familiar... It was some kind of bright yellow... Realisation dawned in me. I was in the guest room. It's been a while since I've been here, so I forgot how it looks like...

But, who could have brought me there. I was alone in the house right?

I suddenly remembered that I was there with Gray. I rushed to the full-length mirror on the wall and check my hair.

Their wasn't a brown wig anymore, it was just my blue hair.

Gray couldn't have taken the wig out right? Or did it fall off when I fainted...

Ugh!! I can't stand this crap!!

The door creaked open, revealing Gray.

"You're... awake..."

We stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity.

"I am sorry, Juvia... I over reacted..." Until Gray, broke the silence...

"......"

"Lyon... is actually my enemy at the moment..." Gray said with hesitation.

"So, when the mention of his name... I will go... well you know that already..."

I stared at my feet, no uttering a single word. But mind full of questions and thoughts.

"Juvia, look at me."

I shook my head. I knew the moment I looked at him, I'll break down in tears.

Gray approached me, slowly. My eyes still down. Every step he took, made my heart pound faster in my chest. Why?

I finally plucked up the courage and managed to look directly into his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Juvia... Will you ever forgive me?"

My eyes turned misty. "I... Not until... You tell me... what happened with Lyon..."

"Sure," he said, smiling.

"So... You both had a misunderstanding?"

"Yes."

"And both of you clearly doesn't know who's at fault so blamed each other?"

"We didn't! I know it was him who did it!!"

"Well, Gray, until you have proof..."

"Are you siding him?!"

"What?! No!"

"Okay..."

"I just don't get it... Why are you both fighting over who made the little girl cry and lost her doll??" Juvia questioned, chuckling a little.

"It's a big problem, I tell you!!"

"If I were her, I would have gotten over it... Besides... it's a few years ago..."

"Hmm... Would girls do that?"

"You're so dense. All girls are different! They don't really have the same thoughts at times. So, I need to see this little girl, to know if she's like me or the one that could not easily forget about something like that..."

"Oh..."

"Can you show me where she lives, Gray?"

"She's actually, Natsu's cousin..."

"Great, that's easier. I'm off to Natsu-san's."

"Wait, I'll go with you!"

"Of course, you are! Lyon is too."

"What?!"

"Gray... he has too..."

"Fine!" Gray grumbled.

A young butler came out of the manor to attend to Gray and me outside the gates.

"Are you friends of Lyon-sama?"

I nodded my head. Gray hesitated, but still nodded his head.

The butler, opened the gates and led us inside the manor, telling us to sit on the couch.

"Juvia-chan!"

Lyon came out of nowhere and sat beside her.

"It's been so long... And why is Gray here?!"

"I want to settle things Lyon. Come with us."

"Where?" Lyon questioned lifting his left eyebrow up.

"Just come with us?"

"Sure! Anything for you!"

I saw a Gray and Lyon glaring at each other but I ignored them. Boys...

"Please open up! Natsu-san, Lucy!"

Lucy rushed to the gates, with a questioning look when she me her with the two boys but ignored them and let us in the manor.

"Why are you here with them Juvia?"

Natsu asked me when we sat down on the living room sofa.

"I need to see you're cousin."

"Which? The little or the um... or the other one?"

"The little one."

"Oh, Wendy!"

"Okay, sure. It's because of them right?"

Natsu pointed to the two boys behind me fighting. I nodded my head.

"Who's the big one?"

Natsu stiffen. Lucy answered me instead.

"She isn't really big. She's the same age as him. But he said she was big because... She's damn scary to him..."

"Who's she?"

"She's Erza Scarlet."

"No way!"

"Yes, way. You know here?"

"Yup! We used to be best friends until the day you all forgot us."

"Oh..."

"WHAT?!" Natsu interrupted us. "You were her beat friend?!"

"Yes."

"Kill me, Luce!!"

"Natsu!!" Lucy whined.

"So... Wendy?"

"Oh! She lives around the corner, the opposite mansiom of Lucy's.'

"Thanks, Natsu!"

"No problem." He grinned.

I dragged Gray and Lyon out of the manor. Literally.

"BEHAVE!!" I roared, irritated.

"A-Aye..."
