The next morning I wake up to the sound of a harsh cough. I immediately look over at Nolan. He is asleep but has a sheen layer of sweat on his forehead and is coughing. He is extremely pale. Oh crap. It's started. When a werewolf finds his mate his body craves her love. If he does'nt get it soon enough his body begins to weaken and then die.
"Dude. Wake up." I say shaking him. His eyes snap open.
"What? What is it? Is Raina okay?" He asks alarmed.
"She's fine. Your not." I say.
"What are you talking about?" He says confused.
"Your body has begun to weaken." I say.
"No. I need to protect her." He says with a raspy voice.
"You need to tell her." I say. I don't need to tell him. He already knows. If he does'nt he will die in a matter of hours.
"I know. How?" He asks.
"Just show her. Tell her how much you love her. Explain to her your world." I say.
"She won't believe me." He says.
"She will if you show her." I say.
"How? I won't have enough strength to shift in a matter of minutes." He says.
"Then tell her now." I say.
"What?" He says.
"Tell her now." I repeat.
"I don't even know if she likes me." He says.
"Yes you do." I say.
"No I don't." He says.
"Yes you do. I've smelt it and you've smelt it. She had hormones practiclly rolling off of her." I say.
"Fine. I'll tell her." He says.
"Good I'll call her." I say.

Raina's POV:
I am sitting at my desk, studying for an exam when Trevor calls me. He tells me to hurry up and come to his dorm. At first I decline but then he says it's urgent. I am still annoyed but make my way to the dorm. Before I can even knock Trevor opens the door. I step in and see Nolan lying in bed pale as a ghost.
"Oh god. Nolan are you okay?" I ask making my way to his side.
"No." He says.
"Well what's wrong?" I ask.
"I'll show you." He says. He shakily get's up and stands.
"Huh?" I say. I'm extemely confused.
"Stand back." Is all he says.
I move away. Staring at him. He is only in pajama's and is shirtless. He is super toned and defined. And for some reason I am restraining myself from touching him.
"Don't be scared." He whispers. Then there is a ripple like thing in front of him. It destorts my vision.
"What's going on?!" I scream.
"Calm down. It's okay." Trevor says. Then replacing where Nolan once stood is a huge wolf. He has amber eyes, the same colour as Nolan's.
I scream. I am so scared. This must be a dream. I stumble towards the door but fall. The last thing I can remmeber is the amber eyes of the wolf before blacking out.
----------Some time later------------
I moan. I open my eyes.
"Oh thank god your okay." Nolan says. I think of what happened before I pass out. I shudder.
"Did that really happen?" I ask. He holds my hand. He still looks horribly sick.
"Yes." He murmurs.
"But you turned into a wolf." I say dazed.
"Yes." Is all he says.
"How is that possible?" I ask.
"My whole family are werewolves." He replies.
"Werewolves?" I repeat.
"Yes." He says.
"Your crazy. This is'nt happening." I manage to say. I'm trying to stay sane.
"Please believe me." He says.
"How can I? It can't be." I say.
"But it is." He says.
"How?" I ask again.
"We've been around just as long as humans." He says.
"Then why does no one know about you?" I question.
"Only our pack is supposed to know." He murmurs.
"Pack? There are a pack of you?" I say shocked.
"Yes. We are a pack of two hundred. There are packs in nearly every state. My father is alpha." He says giving my hand a sqeeze.
"Why did you show me?" I ask."I thought that only pack members knew. You showed me and Trevor." I say. I look around the dorm but can't find him.
"Trevor is a werewolf himself. He thought to give us some privacy." He says following my gaze.
"Then why did you tell me?" I ask.
"Because you are my mate." He says. I am shocked.
"Mate? As in animal?" I ask.
"Yes. I love you. We were destined before we were born to be together." Nolan says.
"This is'nt happening." I say.
"Please don't let me go." Nolan says. He lays his head on my chest. Suddenly I want to hug him. To be as close to him as possible.
"You feel it." He says.
"Feel what?" I say. Still fighting the urge to kiss him.
"The heat. You love me." He says.
"How did you know." I ask. I just know he's telling the truth. It's like I can sense every emotion coming from him. It was sadness but now it's happiness.
"I can smell love radiating from your body." He says.
"Smell?" I say.
"Yes. We can smell emotions." He says.
"Good. You'll be able to tell when I'm annoyed." I say. His color is begining to return.
"You saved me." He says.
"How?" I ask.
"By loving me." He says. He looks up. He leans forward and we kiss.I can feel love pulsing throughout my body. I am either insane or head over heels in love with a werewolf. I might be both.
Yay! He told her. What about Darren? I decided this chapter was dramatic enough with out any evil.
