18 year old hijabi who plans to major in architecture at her new university in Bradenton, Florida United States. Her parents originated in Ethiopia as well as Sudan and moved from Mozambique to Portugal when she was only 4 and have always lived there ever since. She is a religious girl, planning to save herself for after marriage but from looking around she's slowly loosing faith in finding the one written for her. The freshman, always finds herself in an tiny corner with a pencil and book in her hand ready to sketch or doodle. God is her ultimate best friend, and the hijab on her head serves for her as a reminder of who she is and her deen (faith). True love is never something which crosses her mind 24/7 and neither is the 18 year old heartthrob.

Growing up in a Indian, Portuguese, muslim household his parents weren't ever that strict as expected to be. He always seemed to differ from his party animal of a sister his heart always made space for Islam. As much female attention he got in high school he never seemed to care about them. Sports was the only thing his heart belonged to and of course Haleema, or not.

Rachel Da Silva is your typical uni freshman. Having lived her whole life in Brazil this move is bound to change everything. She is the room mate Haleema was hoping for they both click the moment eyes are set. Majoring in architecture more so the interior designing side her main passion was theatre but with strict parents like her she grew up wanting to make them happy and proud. She is Haleema's closest friend there and as young as she might look- she has a whole lot of history with love.
