Ella's POV

"Baby what do you mean its Martin" Christian asked
"Jonathan just told me that Martin has the exact tattoo on his back but with one claw" I replied

I watched as Christian walked over to Jonathan and starting talking to him, I stood frozen in time. I don't understand how and why he would do this to me. How did I not notice anything suspicious with Martin. He was nothing but kind and he was  always so caring with me. I don't understand with everything he welcomed me into his home treated me like I was part of his family.

"Ella baby we need to leave, I'm going to organise a few things, I want you to stay close to Derek and Dwayne until we are ready to leave" Christian directed

I just nodded my head.

"Derek" Christian yelled

"Yeah?" Derek said

"I need you to stay close to Ella and look after her while I make arrangements for us to return to New York, he turned to look at me Ella baby promise me you won't leave his side for anything."

"I promise"

"Alright I'll be back"

"What the hell is he so uptight for?" Derek asked

"Jonathan just told us that Martin has the dragon tattoo on his back and that it has one claw" I explained

"What the fuck, shit Ella that bastard when I get my hands on him I'm going to kill him"

I didn't want anymore of my family to get hurt, and that included Martin. What happened for him to be this way with me. Did he always know that I was that girl who stood in front of Derek, that I went against an assassin Joe. I don't understand any of this.

"Ella" Jonathan spoke

"Jonathan are you ok"? I asked

"Me I should be asking you that" he smiled

"What the fuck Jonathan are you in on this too, are you  just trying to get close to my sister like that bastard did too"? Derek started yelling and shoving Jonathan

"Derek leave him alone he has nothing to do with this"  I shoved Derek back "and your making a scene so just stop, lets go somewhere private to talk"

I walked pass Derek towards a room in the back and waited for Derek and Jonathan to join me. Just before Derek was about to close the door Dwayne walked in

"What the hell was that all about"? Dwayne asked

As we were discussing what we just discovered it was like a dark cloud hung over me with what will happen next. So over the next few days we made plans to catch him. Christian organised for us to meet up with Sam as soon as we land in New York he will have Jonathan put under protection, we would act as normal but now Martin was under full surveillance. I decided I was going to be his bait to lure him to me while the team wait in the shadows. All the bodyguards were told to back off, Christian and my brothers hated the idea. But it was the only way to make him come to me and I know eventually he will want to come to me. Because he was getting desperate sending all his top assassins to take me out, but with no success. To be honest I was ready to finally find out the truth once and for all. So we set up surveillance for the next few days and it didn't take long.

I was working late one night in my office and I had turned off the lights and was ready to go home and relax when out of my peripheral vision I saw a dark shadow approach

"Working late Ella and all alone" Martin asked

"Omg you scared me Martin" I said

"Sorry I didn't mean to do that, so I was wondering if we could catch up I wanted to apologize about my behavior the last time we were together" he said

Shit he wasn't wasting any more time, at least this time I have a time and a place for Christian and his men to work with. I can do this I know I can

"Um sure I would love to catch up when and where"?

"How about you come over to my place we could have dinner and drink like old times"

"Sure Martin I'll bring the dessert"

"Its a date see you then" he grinned

Well its time to get some answers and to put a stop to all this killing
