He left the room to sleep on the couch. I don't know why but the words he said made my heart flutter.
This is the first time I felt something like this.
The unknown tension in my heart,
the butterflies in my stomach every time I watch his smile,
Everything feels new.

A small smile crept on my face while watching him leave.
Maybe he isn't that bad as I think.
Leaving me to sleep alone on the bed,
He's a gentleman.
I should've guessed his character by the way he treats me but I'm not sure.
People don't always behave the same as they are.

Fake personalities everywhere.
They're too scared of being themselves because society might judge them.
I'm like that too, that's why I'm like this.
Being alone in home everyday, dreaming for better days.

I usually can't sleep anywhere else other than my home but his room was different.
It's so pleasant.
The sweet aroma of lavender candles,
the fresh smell of the cushions,
the sun rays perfectly falling onto the cream walls of his bedroom, it felt good to wake up to this.
I mostly wake up late everyday since I don't have anything to do in home but somehow I woke up early today.

I looked at the clock on the wall and stretched my body a little. It's 7:30am and I brushed my teeth before going down to the living room.
He's sleeping on the couch soundly with his legs almost spreading out in the air.
The couch is too small for him.
It must've been so uncomfortable sleeping on it. I felt bad.

I started cooking food quietly, making sure not to wake him up but failed.

"Baby?"
