Epilogue: Five Months Later

So far I haven’t found out much on my dad’s murder. But Hunter has been supporting me every step of the way. I look at the file everyday and see what else I have found out since the first time I read it.

A few post-it notes are in there now with a list of suspects. Some are gang members and I have a small fear that he was involved in some kind of drug affiliation.

“So when I get off work we can head over to my house and eat dinner,” Hunter said as I listened on the other line.

“Sounds like a plan, I got to go. My boss is telling me that my break is up.”

“Alright babe. I’ll pick you up when I get off. Love you.”

“Love you too,” I ended and went back to the photography room to work with my boss.

I glanced at the clock and saw I had four hours left before I could see him. Feeling relieved, I went to go position a family for their portrait. In my head I silently thought, ‘what else would I find out in four hours?’

With my luck I would be one step closer to getting revenge on my father’s murder.
