If there was one thing Song Aerum enjoyed, it was dining at the fancy bistro down the street. She'd been there many times—since she was a wee child, in fact.

Aerum's family was rich, but that wasn't the reason why she enjoyed the place so much. She wasn't interested in the food or flaunting her money—instead, what kept her coming back was one person.

Park Chanyeol.

He's the owner of the restaurant's son, and could often be spotted playing with building blocks near the reception area.

...Well, that was when they were younger, of course.

While Aerum's parents would go dine, she'd play with Chanyeol instead, finding his infectious laugh and happy-go-lucky personality fun to be around.

Now, it was inevitable—as they both grew up, Aerum found herself falling in love with the cheerful boy. At first, she denied it, refusing to see him for a week. However, she soon yearned for his presence, and came to terms with her feelings.

Which leads to now.

"Hey Aerum~ Wanna go karaoke with us?" Aerum's best friend Sunmi singsonged, nudging her in the ribs. The young woman shook her head, prompting a disappointed sigh from all her friends.

"Seriously? What's with you and that bistro? You go there like, every week!" Yoriko groaned, already knowing the reason why Aerum wouldn't be joining them today.

Aerum rolled her eyes, picking up pace.

"Haha, very funny. I have my reasons—see you."

Aerum's friends watched as she disappeared around the corner, turning towards each other and sharing confused shrugs.

"It's that waiter, right...? Park Chanyeol?" one of the friends mused, stifling a snigger. Sunmi and Yoriko nodded.

"...Yup."

The receptionist bore a look of disbelief as Aerum walked through the double doors, blinking rapidly.

"D-didn't I see you yesterday?" she stuttered, obviously not used to the concept of regular customers. Aerum ignored this, nodding curtly.

"Yes, you did....a table for one please."

The receptionist typed something on the computer, handing her a slip bound by red ribbon as she did so.

"Of course. And as you may know, we offer something to our elite members—"

"—just give me my regular waiter, please." Aerum cut in, already knowing what the offer was. Clearly, the receptionist didn't remember offering her the same deal just a day before.

At this bistro, if you are a consistent enough customer, you have the option of choosing a specific waiter or waitress to serve you. The idea came to fruition because of a former employee, who believed that it would help differentiate the bistro from other restaurants.

"Your regular...?" She peered at the computer screen, her eyes widening in surprise. "Ah! Right. O-okay! Please wait here a moment—your waiter will be here to escort you shortly."
