Draco's P.O.V

The best time of the year!! Halloween!!!

I was eating classic Halloween treats and candies at Slytherin table until I looked up to see a certain Emerald-eyed Gryffindor to be staring at me.

Harry blushed insanely and I could see regret in his eyes, but before he could look away, I flashed him a bright smile.

He looked at me in shock. I can tell he must be rethinking life since all I've done towards him is scoff, sneer, frown and of course, the trademarked Malfoy smirk.

I can see his cheeks become a nice Crimson, he's so beautiful.

Woah did I really just think about that towards Potter??

'I guess I did...Well...I guess there'd no point in hiding it or rejecting it. I've known I was gay for quite a while now'. I think while eating a pumpkin pastry

I stare back into his jade-stone eyes, only noe realizing how truly..perfect, Potter really was

I blushed a pale pink while looking at him and gave him a shy smile.

Harry's P.O.V

DAMMIT MALFOY CAUGHT ME STARING AT HIM.

'Wait..Is that... A smile? He needs to do it more often' I think while smiling back. I notice we're both staring into eachother's eyes until he blushes and looks away briefly, but not before filling my stomach with birds and butterflies

Did that really just happen?

I mean, I know I'm extremely gay, and for Malfoy no less, but Merlin, he smiled and blushed back! Do I have a chance..? No, he's just doing that because of the Halloween spirit...Yeah.

I mean, how could Malfoy like me?

Draco's P.O.V

"a masquerade ball.." I whisper to myself, excited slightly and reading one of the posters in the wall that had been recently put up.

"this Tuesday...." today was Sunday. "at night time, around 9 0'clock. There will be food, drinks and dancing...There are special charms set in the room so that even if your complexion is obvious, no one will know who you are unless your mask is taken off." Thank the gods! Now Potter won't recognize me! Even though I may not recognize him...

Well..I guess it wouldn't hurt to go and try to hook up with Potter...

Harry's P.O.V

A Masquerade ball? That sounds great! Maybe then I'll catch Malfoy! But..It does say he won't be recognizable... Oh well, it never hurted anyone to try!

"a masquerade party? That sounds bor- oh wait it says food? I'll be there!" Ron says, wrapping an arm around Hermione's waist

"Oh I'll definitely be there! Masquerade has always been intriguing to me!" Hermione bursts in excitement.

"Yeah, welll....What if I don't find a dancing partner? And I'll be all alone at the party?" I ask worriedly
