"Hi Jake..." I trailed looking down at my floral converse. Vidcon hasn't even started yet and I've already embarrassed myself.

"I'm sorry that was uncalled for." I looked up confused as to why he was apologizing. I had announced myself as the second president. He had absolutely nothing to apologize for.

"Don't be sorry," I shook my head quickly. I sent him a small reassuring smile before realizing what he had done. "Oh and thank you for getting my cotton candy." I could feel my cheeks grow slightly pink. Almost as pink as my candy!

"Anytime." He shrugged with a warm smile.

"Jake..." A shorter guy walked up and leaned almost fully on him. "I'm hungry." He whined leaning even more onto him. I giggled watching them, and it reminded me of Baylor and I. I did the same thing to him when we were together, but as you can tell, he's not with me at the moment. Jake just rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Well get food in a little bit, I'm talking right now Luke." I laughed lightly at the other guy who let out a loud groan.

"I don't mind, you guys can go, I have to find my best friend anyways." I shrugged watching Luke's (I assumed) eyes light up.

"I'll help you find him." Jake glared at Luke before standing beside me to get Luke off of him.

"All right." I smiled leading him down the large staircase I had just come up from. We walked beside each other, not saying much just enjoying each other's company when someone grabbed me from behind and squeezed me tightly.

"Where were you?!" Baylor screeched causing a huge scene.

"I was upstairs talking with Jake, it's okay." I said struggling with trying to open my cotton candy. Luke laughed while Jake reached over and opened it for me. Baylor sighed softly letting me go with a shake of his head.

"Were going to go and eat at Wendy's." Baylor remarked making me crinkle my nose.

"Bay I don't like Wendy's." I took out some cotton candy and offered it to him. He took some with another small sigh.

"Looks like you'll just have to get a drink again then." I sighed and nodded.

"She could come and eat with us." Jake offered seeing I wouldn't be eating much today. Baylor looked uncomfortable waiting for me to answer for him, like I always did. A sigh came from me this time as I tried to figure a way out of this situation for him.

"I'm not really hungry anyways." I lied knowing I was absolutely starving. Baylor didn't let me eat before I left the house. Jake gave me a look I had never seen in anyone before. He looked me in the eyes, and suddenly I couldn't look at him anymore. He had caught me in a lie, and I couldn't do anything but feel guilty.

"Just go." Baylor smiled softly seeing I was struggling.

"Are you sure?" I asked my eyes slightly growing wide. Baylor never gave up on a fight with me. I had always had his back with these kind of things, and he just let it all go.

"Yeah." He smiled before heading back to his trio. I stood with my mouth gaping for a little bit. Jake lightly tugged on my arm with a chuckle. I snapped out of my trance, still slightly confused as to what had just happened.

"Your best friend seems cool." Jake smiled at me while we walked out of the large building.

"Don't lie, he's an ass I know." I laughed softly.
