Ch 20

Derek's POV

"What do you mean there were rogues?" Dean Perry growls

"All they did was run straight through school grounds, never stopped." Elijah explains. "Like they had a target at Pandora."

This time he looks right at me

"Those half blood witches can take care of themselves." He growls

"Perry...You know who they're after." Andrew says, stepping up

"Andrew, Derek, you two and you're betas have gotten into enough trouble with those disgraces. I've let it go, up to now. But I won't be letting it go on any longer. You're under house arrest."

"Like hell." I growl and run out of the office

I know who they're after.

Robin.

It's probably rogues, who allied with Ashton and hate my pack. But not many people know she's my mate, so there's got to be something else, something she's not telling me.

I sprint out of the building, Andrew and Eli close behind, and shift before running into the woods

It's funny, that when things start to shift into your favor, they suddenly turn for the worst. All I can hope is that Mae listened and kept her inside the school.

Robin's POV

"Okay, pyro. Whatcha got?" I mock as we circle each other

"Careful there free hugger." he 'warns' me, it just makes me laugh

"I can do more than grow flowers, all you can do is burn stuff." I smirk as his eyes glow with anger

He throws a fireball at me that I quickly dodge. I strike back by sending a minor earthquake towards him. When I say minor, I mean I kept it in the circle. He is not amused, at all.

"You're really asking for it, huh?" He smirks, making a wave of lave rush at me.

I build a quick wall of stone to surround me, "Not as much as you might think."

This goes on for minutes before someone screams, "MUTT!"

"No, a rogue." I whisper in terror

Derek's POV

"Where is she?" I ask Kris for what feels to be the 100th time, when this is only the third

"I told you," she sobs, but it comes out clearer this time, "They grabbed all four of them. About two minutes ago."

"I'm going, Eli, come one." I bark and run off again, in the directions Kris pointer out

'2 minutes, where could they have gone in 2 minutes?' Seth growls in my head

I ignore his growling and keep searching for her scent, but I come up with nothing.

I finally pick up a rogue scent and follow it. It leads to Mae's scent. But no Robin.

I follow it up, till I see Mae, tied up to a tree.

"Where are they?" I ask, once I've shifted and pulled on a pair of shorts.

She gives me a look, one that Robin gives me a lot. The one that pretty much says, are you stupid?

"Sorry." Eli mutters and takes the tape off of her mouth

"Don't you think if I knew that I would be gone by now? This was a trap you idiots, you just triggered the cage!" She glowers at us

"What?!" I growl
