Past Meets Present (1)

Chapter 9

* Sydney's P.O.V * ( Note : Unless it doesn't say someone else's P.O.V , always assume it's Sydney's . Thanks , I hope you like it :)

I woke up in the morning and I was breathing heavily even though I didn't need the oxygen . I'd had another flashback . Another memory . Edward . Sweet , caring , amazing Edward . I reached over and picked up my phone and called him .

" Hello ? " I heard Edward's voice on the other end and it was a relief .

" Hey , Ed . It's me ." I said in a shakey voice .

" Syd ? Is that you ? You sound upset ! What's wrong ? " he asked worried .

" Edward , I miss you . I've had nobody to talk too . I found Katherine and something wierd is going on ! I'm about to lose my mind . " I said , freaking out .

" What's going on ? " he asked .

" Well I met these two guys . The Salvatore brothers and there is something fimiliar about them . About this town and one of them ... Stefan , acts like he's hiding something from me . "

" What could he be hiding ? " Edward asked .

" I'll let you know when I find out . " I said .

" So this Stefan , you like him ? " Edward asked .

" I don't know . " I admitted .

" You do , don't you ? Wait until Emmett finds out . " He said , chuckling .

I giggled .

" There's something else . " Edward pryed .

" Alright . They're making me sing and I don't know if I can handle it . " I said .

" I know you can . You have the most beautiful voice I've ever heard . " Edward said .

I sighed .

" Thanks . "

"No problem. Let me know how it goes . " he said .

" Will do . Bye , Ed . " I said .

" Bye , Syd . " he said and he hung up .

I sighed . I missed Edward so much . I hadn't seen him in 3 months . He was like my security blanket . I was happy for him . Apparently he was dating this new girl Bella . I haven't met her yet .

I looked at the clock : 12:00 in the afternoon. I shut my curtains and went back to sleep . When I woke up , I changed into a short satin purple dress and did some makeup . Katherine walked in .  

" Are you ready ? " she asked .

" Yeah . Let's get this over with . " I said , rolling my eyes .

We got in my car and I got in the driver's seat and floored it .

When we got there , everyone watched as I pareked doing a 360 , parking right next to the curb .

We had our shades on and we linked arms as we walked inside .

Tyler automatically walked up to me .

" Are you ready ? " he asked .

" Yeah , I guess . " I said .

Katherine waved as Tyler lead me to the small stage they had set up .

He took the microphone and cleared his throat . I stood off to the side .

" Please welcome Sydney Pierce , all the way from Bulgaria . " he said and I heard a small applause .

There was a small band and I walked over to them and told them the song line up .

I turned around and faced the crowd .

" How many of you like to dance ? " I asked .

I looked around and saw a lot of hands go up and I smiled .

" Great . " I said as I started to sing a very up beat song . 

Everyone's mouthes dropped open and people started danceing .

I saw Katherine glowing with victory because she'd one . I was on the stage and she was watching .

My attention got disturbed when I saw Matt , Bonnie , Elena , Caroline , Stefan and Damon walking towards us .

They stood right next to Katherine in the front row .

Next I sang another cheery song with a good rythm .

I saw Damon burst out laughing and to my suprise someone I've been thinking about constantly was also in the front row cheering me on . It was Edward.All the way from Forks , WA just to show me he cared .

After I finished that song , I sang a slower one .

When I was done , I took a bow and walked off and went straight into Edward's waiting arms .

" You came ! " I said .

" I wouldn't miss it . " he said , keeping me in a tight hug .

I heard someone clear thier throat and I turned around to see Stefan , Damon , Elena , Katherine and Matt and another boy . He looked like Elena , probably her brother .

" Who's this , Sydney ? " Katherine asked .

" This is Edward Cullen , he's my best friend . " I explained .

Edward smiled .

" For a VERY long time . " he said .

I playfully punched his arm .

" Edward , this is Katherine , my sister , Damon Salvatore , Stefan Salvatore, and uh ... Matt Donavan , and Elena Gilbert .

" Pleasure . " Edward said .

Stefan just glared at him.

" Can I have this dance ? " Stefan asked .

I looked suprised .

" Sure. "

Stefan lead me into the middle of the dance floor and pulled me close .

- Sorry the chapters are short , I wrote this story a LONG time ago and it was on a different website for awhile and so I thought I'd put it on here so ... I hope you guys enjoy it . Comment me . -
