Hi guys...

I don't even know where to start. I have a physiology lab until 9:30 at light on Thursday's and my phone just so happened to die last night before I got out. Right after I got it charged enough to turn back on, I saw that I had three missed calls and a text from my mom saying I needed to come home immediately. My mom is never one to be too serious, so I knew something was deeply wrong right away.

When I got home, my parents informed me that my precious 13 year old yellow lab had had a stroke and passed away while I was in class.

I can't even begin to explain how heartbroken I feel. She was so much more than just a pet to our entire family - she was another family member. This has been the hardest goodbye I've ever had to say.

If this authors note is scatterbrained, it's because it's currently 2 am and I cannot sleep or stop crying. If there's no update tomorrow, please understand I am grieving and need time with my family.

Those who have fur babies of their own will hopefully understand where I am coming from. Her loss has been so sudden and I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye.

I hope you can all understand.
