Lafayette needed advice; and when he needed advice, who else to go to but his big brother?

That's what he was there for, right?

His brother didn't know everything, but for sure he knew something, and that was already more than Lafayette did.

It was seven in the morning and sure; he didn't go early to bed but Lafayette was an earlybird and he couldn't help it.

He strolled down the hall in his slippers and robe, the morning was awfully quiet as the sunlight lit up Brooklyn.

Not even bothering to knock on the door, he slowly opened it.

"Hey, Thomas can I ta..."

Lafayette stopped in his steps as he saw an unfamiliar sight.

Thomas and Alexander were asleep in the bay window, Alex's head resting on Thomas' shoulder.

"Bien, c'est une nouvelle," Lafayette spoke in surprise and smiled.

Maybe finally Thomas had dared to tell Alexander how he felt.

Lafayette closed the door.

He couldn't wait to tell Mulligan.
