One lesson I have learned extremely well over the years is that everyone has a different idea of what ‘fun’ is. For your convenience I have constructed a list of what different people define ‘fun’ as:
Moms: Getting you to clean the house
Dads: Getting you to do yard work
Swim Coaches: Swimming a really hard set
The Dentist: Brushing my teeth
Dogs: Sleeping
Sunday School Teachers: Playing the Quiet Game
From this knowledge I have analyzed what my life would be like if I lived it in the ’fun’ way they described.
I would clean the house, then mow the lawn, then swim 100 yards in 50 seconds, brush my teeth, take a nap and do it all over again while playing the quiet game.
