Chapter 6

"Its the Annihilator. They don't draw him nearly scary enough," Kaz whispered

"I'll be sure to tell them that right after we actually make it out alive!" I scolded him

"Never thought The Phantom would pay a visit to my lair. I would have thought I'd catch you first," Annihilator spoke

"Change of plans, Annihilator. We're taking Skylar's powers back and there's nothing you can do to stop us," I hissed, then he closed the exit

"Well there goes our exit," Kaz stated, making me glare at him

"It's good to see you again, Shifter. I thought you were long gone," Annihilator spoke

"Decided it was time to come of hiding," Sam hissed

"Phantom and Shifter, you'll both make nice additions into my wall of heroes powers," Annihilator spoke, "Who should I start with first?"

That's when everything broke loose, I put my arms in a 'X' formation and sliced down, shocking him with a large amount of energy

He stumbled back, making Sam shift into a raven and fly behind him, shifting back and kicking him in the back

Kaz then shot him with Absolute Zeros freeze ray, but he caught the energy, "He's absorbing the power," Kaz shrieked, Sam and I stood by the boys sides

He loaded the energy into a container and took the weapon off his back

"And loading it into his power cannon!" Oliver added

He prepared to shoot but I put up and electric wall between us and him, the energy hit the wall, not us thankfully

But it bounced slightly off the wall and hit a pipe, causing it to burst open and smoke started to fill the room

"That's it!" I spoke, standing up and preparing a flame in my hand

"I know what your doing, and I'm with you," Sam spoke, firing up and ice ball in her hands

"Now!" I spoke, we both fired our powers into the other two pipes and smoke filled the room much faster

We grabbed Kaz and Oliver and I ripped open the vent, getting all of us out of here, in no time we had escaped the lair

We were back in Mighty Med in no time, it helps when you can fly, along with a shape shifting sister who can fly, we were in the training area and Oliver had set down Skylar's powers

"Wow, we were this close to being annihilated. But at least, now we can save Skylar's life," Oliver sighed

"You don't have faith in my powers?" I asked, my arms folded

"What? Of course I do," Oliver said in a high voice, making me eye him

"You've never risked your life to save mine," Kaz told Oliver

"Oh, really? I entered your nightmare to help you defeat Megahertz. I battle a fire demon form the lower dimension and I reduced you from a rampaging smoke monster who tired to possess your soul," Oliver explained

"Yeah, but that was, like, weeks ago," Kaz whined, I rolled my eyes

"Okay, now that the time pressure is off, I can give Skylar her powers later when we're alone," Oliver spoke

"We are alone," Kaz pointed out

"No, your really not," I replied as I pointed to me and Sam

"Oh, by the way I think you owe us something," Sam spoke

"Oh, right. Thank you guys for helping us, it was really cool of you," Oliver thanked

"Yeah, thanks," Kaz spoke
