Sophie's P.O.V
My eyes were still wide from the big speech Zac had just given. The thing is, he not only admitted it to me but to a room full of people. What is he thinking? His Fiancee is in the room for crying out loud.
Things were getting out of hand. Too much was happening at once and I was struggling to keep up. I had no idea what this all meant. I mean, he left me right? Actions speak louder then words or so I've heard. I've come to terms with the fact that we'll never be a family or a couple again. I had just started moving on in my life and now this?
He turns up out of the blue and starts declaring all this love for me and admitting he was wrong and he made a mistake.....and oh I'm so confused right now. My main priority right now though were Abby and Wilson. I would be telling them about Zac later tonight incase anyone blurts it out before I get a chance to explain.
It wouldn't be fair to them.
"Sophie." I looked up at Zac who was standing infront of me.
"Yes?" I asked hesitantly.
"I want to be in Abby and Wilson's lives."
"I know." I answered smiling.
"But I want to be part of your life as well." I sighed and closed my eyes.
"Zac," I whispered leaning forward. "We've been through this."
"I know but I made a mistake, a huge horrible mistake. I want to make up for it."
"There's nothing to make up for. What happened, happened, end of." I said as I began to feel my throat going dry.
"Why can't we try?" He pleaded whispering.
"Because it hurts too much. I've been hurt enough times Zac, don't you think?" He swallowed and nodded sadly. "This is too complicated right now, everythings a mess and I don't know what to do. You, Paige, Abby and Wilson."
"Then let me help you." He pleaded again but I shook my head.
"Don't you have a song to sing?" I asked nodding to wear his band mates were already setting up the stage. He nodded and smiled sadly before walking over to the stage.
Why was he making this so hard?
"This is the new single I wrote not so long ago. I hope you enjoy it." I looked up the moment I heard his voice and found his eyes already locked on me. I swallowed and looked around nervously.
