I was currently sitting in Tasha's office on my lunch break why she talked on the phone
"Mannn stop the lying and where you get that car from?" She asked Dre making me stop and look at her. Seems like Dre  finally getting his stuff together.
"Ohhh it looks nice how much was it?" She asked putting it on speaker so she could finish eating
"See now you being nosey don't worry about all that" he said making me shake my head
"Ok daddy I see you doing big shit huh"
"Been doing it you just be trippin Tasha"
" I know baby I'm getting better you coming home tonight aren't you?" She asked making me roll my eyes at how gullible she can be.
"You already know and you better be ready too I missed you"
"I missed you too thanks for lunch Jay said thanks too"
"Y'all welcome and tell Jay I said she better not ignore my calls no more or we gonna have a problem" she looked at me laughing
"What ever nigga stop blowing up my shit and you wouldn't have to worry one bit" there was a knock at the door making me get up to answer it.
"Yea you looking for Tasha ?" I asked the white girl who been here since I got here
"Oh hey Ja'Dia I love you hair and yea is she available?" I smiled and let her in
"How you been boo We barely see each other now you done switch up and went to fraud prevention" I said taking another bite sitting down she walked closing the door behind her.
"I know girl it's so crazy over there but not as crazy as it was when I was at the windows with you. But we gotta catch up one day" she said
"Boy bye with your nasty ass but let me go someone just came in" Tasha said into the speaker
"Oh alright baby I'll see you tonight love you"
"Love you too bye" she hung up and started back eating.
"Why you let her in here Jay I'm on break" Tasha said to me as if she was not standing there

"No your fine sit down she just mad she had to cut her nasty talk short. Tasha this is Sarah she been here just as long as me"

"I think recognized that voice who was that on the phone?" She asked making Tasha snap her head at her. Oh shit.

"Well little ms SARAH needs to mind her business and I know for sure you don't know who that is" she snapped at her making Sarah look at me for help
"Girl it was not that deep she just she he sounded familiar chill nobody want his ass trust me."
"Yes totally what she said ma'am I just came in her to give you the reports from this week and tell you that one of the security guards just arrested a male who he caught in the back rooms" she said lowly stepping back a little
"Oh ok. Thank you for that just place them on that table over there. And im sorry I've been a little stressed lately I didn't mean to come off rude Sarah nice to meet you and any friend of Ja'Dia is mines as well" she went and put the papers down and walked to the door
"I'll text you boo see ya" she too me before closing the door behind her
"You know for a head district manager you bout rude as fuck" I said sipping on my lemonade

"I know I know which is good but you know that was probably her last time coming up in her right? "
"I know she probably think I'm crazy" we laughed
"You right you are that indeed. But let me get up and go back up front before the have a fit"

"I know but she cool to hang with I met her here though maybe we can all go out on day"
"Yea that day isn't on my calendar yet" she said making me laugh shaking my head
"Bye fool see you after work " I shut her door walking back to the front to my counter. I seen Sarah talking to the janitorial guy who tries to hit on every woman here
"Hey I need you over here on window 9 the line is getting busy come on" I said grabbing her walking up the hall once we were out of his site I let her go
"Thank you so much he just keep making arrangements like I'm really going to captain D's with him after he gets off" she whispered
"Let me ask you something Sarah."
"Sure"
"No offense. But what is a well educated white woman doing down here in Bankhead when you work at Grady"
"Well it's a little extra money and it's a little more convenient for my boyfriend to come see me sometimes but I can say the same about you Jay your a beautiful girl what you doing here"
"This where I'm from born and raised but you Sarah is not. I don't wanna hear about you getting robbed or some"
"I know I'm supposed to be going gun shopping this weekend and learning how to protect myself"
"That's good girl gone ahead. But I'll catch up to you later" I said walking into My counter

After work I had to go pick up Farrah and my nephew because Tyrek didn't show up. I unlocked the door for them to both get in.
"Thank you so much sis I'll love you forever" she said after she buckled in Jr. I turned around smiling at him handing him my phone so he could play on it.
"No problem Fye it's nothing"
"I totally was so careless of him I already had to catch a ride to go get jr and didn't wanna make her drive all around town for me"
"Why where's your car ?" I asked pulling off
"They repossessed it last week" she said lowly looking out the window. I sighed
"Why didn't you ask me Farrah" I said sternly
"Because I need you to save up your money not worry about your big sister I got this"
"Bullshit you have my nephew so I don't need to worry your supporting the both of you alone so I'm here for anything. Plus you know me and Angie split everything so I am saving"
"I know sis it's just been hard lately and I gave up the car payments because Tyrek stop giving me money for Jr so it was sudden" she started crying making me soften up
"And it was smart out of all the things the car was old anyway it stayed in the shop more than grandma goes to church" I said making her laugh
"You always know what to say thanks boo I missed you Anyway we gotta get out of Georgia"
"You know so many people been telling me to get out lately what's going on?" I asked
"Uhmm hello look where we stay it's unsafe trust me and Jr will be out soon "
"What y'all leaving me?"
"I mean I was hoping you would Jump on the bandwagon that's why I've been working so much. I want more for him you know." She said I nodded understanding her.
"I might take you up on that offer but not right now where you thinking about going?"
"New Jersey, Washington, maybe Cali"
"Woah those are all over the place. Really that far from the family?" I asked
"Yes but Jersey weighing on me heavy plus remember we always wanted to go to New York I think he would love it"

"Plus I kinda already accepted an offer in Executive operations its either Jersey or Texas"
"Mhmm well I'm happy for you save a spot for me"
"Always do boo" she said making us laugh and Dre too

"It was so fun Aunty we went outside and we had water day? He said excitedly

"Yes you did and we had nachos"
"Ahh man not nachos" I said making him laugh as we pulled up to their apartment I helped her grab the groceries out the back while she got Jr and unlocked the door.
"You can just put them on the counter thank you"
She said turning off the alarm
"Alright" I sat them up there then poured me a cup of apple juice before going to sit on the couch.
"I'm making spaghetti you staying?"
"Most definitely"
"Yay" jr said while bringing some toys in for me to play with him

I locked my phone and finished playing with Jr while Farrah unbagged the groceries then Tyrek came in.
"Daddy!" Jr yelled running hugging his legs he picked him up throwing him in the air making him scream
"Mommy look I'm flying" he said while Tyrek ran around with him in the air.
"I see baby let daddy come help mommy while you and aunty Jay play ok" she said Ty put him down
"What's up Jay how you doing?" He asked me nudging my head
"I've been good actually"
"That's good remember what we talked about right?" He asked making my roll my eyes
"Yes how can I forget you remind me constantly"
"Ty come here I need to talk to you" Fye said coming into the living room with her hands wet
"Alright I'm coming"
"Why weren't you there to pick me and your son up huh you still dealing with other girls!" She shouted smacking him up the head while she followed him in the kitchen.
"Aunty why does mama always be mean to daddy?" He asked looking up at me with those big brown eyes.
"Well baby they don't always get along but they love each other very much" I said
"Well why does she yelling fuck you when they make the bed shake at night" he asked making me hold in my laughter
"Come on let's bathe while mommy and daddy cook ok?" He nodded I silently thanked god for allowing me to dodge that question. I made some bathe water for him while he played around with a few toys while I was on my phone.
