Chapter 8

Ashton’s P.O.V

After we left the house, Anna said

“So, where’s the car”?

“Well you said you don’t like being in cars so I guess were walking to the bonfire” Anna smiled and said

“You’re such a gentlemen”

“Well my mum did raise me right”

“What about your dad” she asked

“Oh um” my dad was a touchy subject I put my hand in my pockets looking at the ground and I said “My parents are devoiced” I was hoping she heard me I looked up and said

“I’m sorry to bring that up Irwin”

“It’s fine, I don’t talk to my dad at all now his nothing but a dick”

“I’m sure you’re dad still loves you” I laughed at that and looked at Anna and said

“His a heartless man doesn’t care about anyone but himself”

“Well some people can change I would know” I’m pretty sure she was talking about herself but my father he wouldn’t change I can tell you that I hated his guts I just didn’t want to talk about this and I just said

“Yeah”

Once we arrived at the bonfire, I saw teens dancing to music and people sitting near the fire. I spotted the boys down at the beach and I waved at them and I looked at Anna and I said

“Come on”

“Uh” Anna stood there and I just

“You coming”?

“Irwin, maybe this was a bad idea coming here I haven’t been to an event since” I knew she didn’t want to say the next word “Listen maybe I should go” she turned around about to walk off, I’m not giving up that easily I grabbed her hand and she quickly pulled away from me

“Anna, listen we walked all this way for a great night and if you leave well I think the night is going to suck without you”

“I don’t know, I mean people are”

“Anna, I’ll be by your side and anyway I’ll hit whoever says anything to you”

“What if it’s a girl?”

“I will tell her to piss off”

“You’re such a great friend” she said smiling at me, we walked down to the beach towards the boys and Luke said

“What took you guys so long”?

“We walked” I said, Luke seemed impressed to do that I don’t know why I guess because maybe he knew his sister hates being in a car

“Well sis it’s nice that you could come”

“Yeah”

“No freaking way, Anna is that you” We all turned around and I saw a girl with short blonde hair just on her shoulders she took her sunglasses off showing her blue eyes and said “Anna Hemmings, well I haven’t seen you at an event since well you know” Anna kept quiet where have I seen that girl before? “Still not talking aye” now I knew who she was, she had those 2 girls next to her and wouldn’t stop bugging Anna, I wish this girl could just leave Anna alone I step up and said

“Hey why don’t you leave her alone?”

 “Oh the new boy is defending you again, looks like you finally moved on from”

“Zoe, don’t” said Luke really angry she smirked and said

“Peter” I looked at Anna and she looked like she was going to tear up, Anna pushed past Zoe and started running

“Nice on Zoe” Luke was about to run after Anna, but I stopped him and I said

“Let me” I ran after Anna, and I saw her walking home “Anna”! I yelled she turned around looking at me but looked back continuing to walk away I ran up to him stopping right in front of her “Anna, stop, stop”

“Why, I don’t know why I was even there look Ashton you can go back to the bonfire but I’m going home because that’s why I should be”

“Then I’m coming with you” I told her

“No you’re not”

“Yeah I am, we can hang out at your house and order pizza”

“Why do you care so much, Irwin”?

“There’s just something about you pink tips” Anna was blushing a bit and I said “Come on let’s go have a better night than some stupid bon fire”

Anna and I were getting ready to have a game of Sonic All-star racing it was Anna’s idea to play. I grabbed the boxes of pizza that the pizza man just delivered and I came around the corner and I said

“So, are your parents ever around”?

“Yeah but they’ve got a life they went out on a date and probably too drunk to come home so like always they book a room for one night”

“So you’re parents go out on a date every weekend”

“Every second weekend”

“Well isn’t that cute”

“Yeah” I sat down and grabbed a controller and I said

“Ready for me to whip your butt”

“It’s on Irwin” we started playing the game and so far Anna was winning but in the end I won and Anna said “That was not fair I was winning”

“Yeah but in the end I won deal with it” Anna pushed me causing me to fall over, and she couldn’t stop laughing I sat back up and pushed her over and I was on top of her we both laughed and I said

“You have beautiful eyes” I moved a bit of hair and put it behind her ear, I really wanted to kiss her but she said

“Uh let’s watch a movie” I got off her and she sat up walking over to the TV opening the up the draw looking for a movie “Uh let’s watch what movie do you want to watch”?

“Whatever you want to watch”

“Alright let’s watch The Internship love that movie” I nodded and she put the DVD in and pressed play we sat on the sofa not sitting close to each other, the movie was funny Anna had such a great laugh I noticed Anna was getting closer to me and you know next thing I know Anna rested her head on my shoulder I smiled and put my arm around her resting my head on her head. This felt like a nice moment.

Luke’s P.O.V

When I arrived back at the house I opened the door hoping Anna was asleep, I can’t believe what Zoe did whenever Anna heard someone say Peter she breaks down I walked into the lounge room and I saw that the TV was still on, I went to turn it off and once I turned around sitting on the sofa was Anna sleeping with Ashton they both seemed happy especially Anna. I haven’t seen that smile since Peter and her were dating I went to the cupboard and got out a blanket walking back to the lounge room putting it on Anna and Ashton. I smiled at the two of them sleeping peacefully I wasn’t mad at Ashton and I have no reason too I mean I think his actually fixing my sister and getting the old Anna back.

Aw cute :3 I hope you guys are enjoying the story so fair and plus I was thinking about doing a 8 track kind of thing for this story if you don't know what 8 track is, it's basically a place where you make a playlist or something like that so anyway I need your help and I was wondering what songs I should put on there :) but anyway keep voting and commenting and btw You are all beauitful people always remember that :) xo
