"Soooooo," said Jaden breaking the awkward silence going on between us, "wanna watch a movie?"
"Ummm, sure," I said, my mind still not of the fact that he asked me to help him ask paisley. "What movie?" He asked as he turned on Netflix "I don't know, I replied, you choose,"I replied "How about Rent?" He asked me "No! No, thank you" I replied hastily, remembering that Rent apparently turns Jaden on, like the time he was making out with *cough* slut *cough* I mean paisley. "Why don't we watch fantastic beats and where to find them?" (Pretend this is on Netflix) "Uh, um sure" he said slightly trembling as he flipped to the movie.
Every five minutes into the movie, I couldn't help but sense that Jaden was scared. He jumped slightly each time a dragon or ghoul came into the picture (sorry I haven't watched it so idk what happens) and in the middle of the movie, he hid his face in the couch as if it could protect him from the two dimensional characters.
"Awww, are you scared Jay Jay?" I teased "N-no I'm not," he stuttered, "but the monsters are so big!!" "Awww is ok Jay Jay," I said patting with him hair as it seemed to be calming him "Thanks, Cupid," he whispered as he looked up to me, "Any time, Jay Jay," I said smiling as I still played with his hair, "you wanna do something else? Cause I don't want you getting spooooooked," I said dragging out the last word "Shut up!!!" He retorted "Fine, well do something else. what do you wanna do?" I asked "Let's go to the roof?" He asked eagerly, "so wet can finish my drawing?" He added, trying to sound cool but epicly failing "Yeah sure," I smiled as we both went up to the roof.
It was just like last time. Peaceful, calm, breathing, beautiful. We both drew separate drawings braid he was to scared I'd ruin his. I leaned my head on his shoulder like last time and drew the city in an eye Imagine an drawn face but zoomed in on the eye, then imagine a city inside the eye, that's what it looked like.
"Can I see yours? " I asked after we had say there for a while. "I want drawing, " he said, "I was writing a poem-song-thing, I'm not really sure yet," "Wow, that just brings your level of artistic guy way up," I muttered "What?" He said "I said, that just added to how nerdy you are," I said laughing, hoping he didn't hear what I actually said "Whatever," he said shrugging it off "Can I see it?" I asked eagerly "No," he quickly replied, "this is private, Cupid" "Ugh fine, weirdo," I reported "Can I see yours?" He asked, "since I am clearly better than you at drawing and my help would actually make a huge difference," he asked, not very politely "Sure, but I'm better than you at basically, everything else!!" I said as I gave it to him "Nice job, Cupid, just one thing,"he said as he added a sketch of a boy in the distance behind the girl. "There's me," he said pointing to the boy, "and there's you," he said pointing to the girl I drew and smiling "Even though you're afraid of two dimensional beasts and Need physical training involving your sports skills, you're really sweet, and I love you for that," I said smiling, "I'm really glad we're best friends," I said shortly after without thinking, "Yeah, me too," he said with an unreadable expression despite his fake smile, "come on, lets go inside," he said grabbing my hands and leading me inside. Shortly after, we feel asleep on the couch, my hands still tangled in his hair
Author's note: Hey guyssssss, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, I think is one of my better ones because it only includes two characters, anywayyyyy story it wasn't very long, I just liked ending it like this, I thought it was cute. I'm trying to wrap up this story but I can tell that I'm no where near finishing, so I might just start another book alongside it. Ilovesiriusb I used your favourite movie!!
