"Dude, Alexander, that was the best thing EVER to happen at a Schuyler party!"

Hercules slurred as we walked out to Lafayette's car.

I cringed.

"Y-Yeah. Great."

Suddenly, a familiar boy came to us.

It was Aaron.

"Hamilton? A word."

I hesitated, but followed him, giving the others a look of 'if I'm not back in ten minutes, worry.'

He pulled me behind the house.

"Wait did you bring a date tonight, Burr?"

He was taken back.

"What? No."

I rolled my eyes.

"I know you like that Theodosia girl. It's obvious. You should learn to hide your feelings better, Aaron."

He threw his hand over my mouth.

I laughed.

"She's dating someone anyways."

He glared at me.

"But that's not the point."

I giggled.

"I'm Alexander Hamilton. I don't care about the point."

I walked back to my friends, desperate to leave his situation.

John seemed to be distant.

I shuddered remembering the awkward moment earlier tonight.

I hope he doesn't think I'm a freak.

I'll talk to him tomorrow.

We all filed into the car.

"We can drop Ham off first cause he fucked with the Schuyler sisters tonight."

Laf chuckled.

"Yeah. Where to Alexander?"

I gulped.

John chewed on the corner of his mouth.

"Wait. Didn't you say you were staying with the Washingtons while your parents are away?"

I nodded.

Fuck.

Hercules clicked his tongue.

"The Washingtons it is."

After driving for almost an hour, we finally got to where I was staying.

I opened the door to leave when John tapped my shoulder.

They all stared at me at the same time.

I shrugged.

"Goodnight Alex."

I smiled, making a signal with my fingers.

"Tomorrow they'll be more of us."

They all chimed in.

"Telling the story of tonight."
