The Ghost landed outside the clone base.
The ramp hissed open and the crew walked out.
Ezra padded beside Kanan nervously.
They came to the entrance of the base. Small sparks of nerves ignited in them as they turned on their torches. Kanan activated his lightsaber.
The blade hummed as a faint blue glow lit up the area.
"Ready?" Hera asked them.
"Nope" Ezra replied going in. The others followed.
Ezra sniffed the ground, picking up scents of the wild Fyrnocks in the base.
"I've picked up a trail. Come on" Ezra said bounding forward.
"Kids got guts" Hera muttered as they went after him.
Ezra sniffed the floor carefully, prowling, and stepping quietly.
"Wait" he said holding up a paw to stop the team.
"What is it?" Sabine asked.
Ezra raised his head to the air and took in a breath.
"They should be out by now" he muttered.
Kanan and Hera glanced at one another.
Ezra closed his eyes as the Force talked to him.
"Zeb! Move!" He yelled jumping at the Lasat and forcing him to the floor just as a wild Fyrnock came from nowhere.
Skidding round, it crouched, snarling angrily at the Ghost crew.
Sabine pointed her blaster at the creature.
"No! Sabine wait!" Ezra yelped jumping in front of the Fyrnock.
Sabine lowered her gun as Ezra turned round to the animal.
"We come in peace" he growled.
"Peace? That's a word we've never heard" the Fyrnock snarled.
"We're being tracked by the Empire. We need your help." "The Empire? Help? You're a traitor to side with humans."
"You don't understand. I'm not one of you. I was forced into a Fyrnock by one of your own. I'm a human."
By now, the two animals were circling one another.
"The Fyrnocks Curse" the Fyrnock muttered.
"I was the one who changed you boy. Only the alpha has the capability of doing that. So you're the kid I bit a while back?"
"Can you change me back?" Ezra asked.
"No. Only a a special herb can do that. Considering that it's my fault that you're now like this, we will help you. On one condition."
"Name it."
"You never come back here. Ever since you arrived we've had nothing but problems."
"I'm sorry about that. And we promise" Ezra agreed.
"Very well. But tell me your name kid."
"Ezra Bridger" Ezra replied.
"Well then Ezra, say hello to your army."
A least fifty Fyrnocks began crawling and prowling from out of the darkness.
Chopper warbled fearfully and held on to Hera's leg.
"Oh come on Chop. We're fine. They're not going to harm us. Right Ezra?"
Hera didn't get a reply.
Ezra was busy getting introduced to the pack.
The young ones climbed onto him and tried biting him with their small teeth.
Ezra merely chuckled at their antics and lowered them to the ground.
A small one suddenly grabbed the tracker from Ezra's neck and yanked.
Ezra yelped in pain as it came free.
The young Fyrnock showed him what he'd caught.
"That must be the tracker" Kanan said.
He looked down in surprise when he felt tugging on his boots.
A Fyrnock cub was trying to rip his shoes.
"Easy there kid" Kanan said bedding down and separating the teeth from the leather.
The cub jumped onto Kanan's lap and purred like Ezra did. Except this one's was softer.
"These guys are just like tame Lothcats once you gain their trust" Sabine remarked scratching one round it's chin.
Ezra smiled as his family met the pack.
"Bridger. When do you think the Empire will arrive?" The alpha growled.
"I'd say not very long. They'll arrive soon enough" Ezra replied.
A sudden cracking sound made them look round.
The remains of the tracker were being destroyed and swallowed by the cub.

Next part should be up soon.
