Chapter 6: The Royal Treatment

When I finally got inside the castle, my jaw went down. There were so many students inside. Especially the ones that I saw outside earlier who were holding up signs to welcome me. The place was so big, I felt like if I was Tinker Bell and it's  my first time in Pixie Hollow. The building was built from brown hardwood, there were two staircases that led to the top were the entrance door was, more signs of Auradon were still hanged up, and there were so many plant pots that had gorgeous flowers and carved mini bushes. I felt like I wasn't back home anymore. Instead, I was in a magical kingdom. "Well this is all nice, now where do I-", I said as I accidentally bumped into someone from behind. I was so interested in everything inside, I forgot that I was still in people's way. "Hey! Watch where you're go- Oh! I'm so sorry, Ms.Ralda. I didn't mean- I was just- never mind.", said the teenage boy that bumped into me from behind. To me he was kinda cute. He had blond hair, blue eyes, he wore a sports shirt that said "Go Fighting Knights!", black shorts, and white sneakers with blue laces. I went back to normal after staring at him for a little bit, which he founded a little weird. "Ah..Oh! I'm sorry! It's my fault, actually. I was just-", I said as I was talking out of sentence in front of him. "No don't say sorry, it's my fault actually. I should've known I would've bumped in the my own cousin in the first place.", he said to me. I felt like I didn't know anything here. I didn't even know I had royals as aunts or uncles, or even royal cousins. "My name is Chad, by the way. Chad Charming Jr. Son of Cinderella.", he said again. I couldn't believe that I was talking to Cinderella's son, to me it felt like such an honor. "Nice to meet you, my name is G-", I said to Chad as he stopped me before I could introduce myself. "You don't need you to tell me your name, I already know who you are. Let me just say if you ever need help fitting in this place, just find me and I'll try my best to show up.", said Chad as he looked at me like I needed help fitting into Auradon. "Uh..Ok. Thanks, I guess.", I said to Chad. Even though I already got here, I'm pretty sure I might be able to fit in this place by myself without anyone's help. "Well see you later, I have tourney practice today.", said Chad as he gave me a fist pump goodbye. I fist pumped him back and went to go find directions on where should I go next. As I was looking around, I saw a band member that I saw outside a while ago. I thought that maybe he can help me. When I went to him to tap on his shoulder, he turned around and talked to me. He had light brown hair, brown eyes, he wore glasses on his face, he wore his band outfit that was blue and yellow from head to toe, he had a black band hat in one hand and a trumpet in the other, and he was wearing black shoes. To me I felt like is was about to talk to a nerd, but he seemed very nice. "Hello Ms.Ralda, my name is Doug.", he said to me as he bowed down. I did the same thing and shook his hand. "I'm the son of Dopey, let's just say that I come from a lot of dwarfs in my family.", said Doug as I interrupted him before he could speak again. "Well it's nice to meet you, I heard a lot about your family and Snow White. You can just call me Genesis for short, I don't want to be that much of a show off.", I said which made him laugh. "Anyway, I'm lost and I don't know where to go in this building apparently. Can you help me please?", I said nicely to Doug. And so he did. "Oh sure, I'll help you! I know every dorm in this building.", said Doug as he pulled out a chart of names and dorm numbers. "Let's see, ah yes! Your dorm is upstairs on the second floor. Dorm 100, go straight up the second floor and make a left on the last door down the hall. Here's a map to help you get threw Auradon if you need to.", said Doug as he handed me a map. At least finally someone gave me help. "Thank you so much.", I said as I took the map he gave me. "No problem, hope you'll find everything well here.", said Doug. As I was about to leave, I heard him say something. He was trying to remember all of his uncles and father's names. "Let's see: Happy, Grumpy, Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Sleepy, and-" he said as he kept continuing on until I stopped him. "Sneezey!", said with a giggle. "Oh right! Well, thank you.", said Doug as he waved "goodbye" to me. I also waved "goodbye" to him as well. I went straight up to the second to find my dorm, but that was until I heard crying coming from the upstairs girls bathroom. I went straight to the bathroom to see who was crying and what was going on. When I finally got in, I saw a girl crying in the sink. I wanted to see if she was ok, so I tapped her on the shoulder. "Excuse me, are you alright?", I said which made her jump. She had very short dark brown hair, bright blue eyes, she wore a cute little bow in her hair that was light pink, she wore a baby blue dress, she had white socks on all the way up to her knees, and she wore black flat shoes. She also seemed a little shy when I check to see if she was alright. "Ah! I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make any noise. I was just upset. No! I was crying! No! I was just-", she said until I stopped her. "Hey relax, its fine. I just wanted to see if everything was alright. I'm Genesis, by the way.", I said which made her calm down. She then looked up at me, bowed down, and said "Oh! Your highness, I didn't realize it was you! I'm so sorry! I didn't even notice!" I then looked at her and said "Please, call me Genesis for short. I'm new here in Auradon." She then stopped to calm down and introduce herself to me. "Well, I'm Jane. Daughter of the-", she said until I gave her my guess on who she was daughter of. "The Fairy Godmother, I met your mother already. She seemed very nice when I saw her.", I said to Jane which made her kinda smile. She then said to me "And she's pretty too. I want to be pretty too. Like you! You have great hair and a gorgeous nose.", Jane said as I looked very sorry for her. Because she thought she was ugly, but I thought she looked adorable. "Hey don't say that, I think you look beautiful. You have nice hair, nice eyes, and a gorgeous nose too.", I said to Jane which made her smile and let out a little laugh which made me laugh too. "Well thanks, at least someone is kind enough to tell me. Let's be friends, I mean if you want to.", she said which made me laugh and shook my head "yes". "Sure, lets be friends! You seem quite nice, and sweet like sugar cookies.", I said to Jane which made her laugh again. She then said "Oh! Well, I have to go now! It's getting late, and I need to study for chemistry tomorrow. Well, nice meeting you, Genesis. Bye!" I said "bye" to Jane as she left the bathroom and I did as well. Once I left the bathroom, I went back to find my dorm. After two minutes walking down the longest hall on the second floor, I finally made it to dorm 100. I opened the door and I was in shock, because my dormitory was absolutely beautiful. There was a large white and pink bed next to my table lamp, a pink changing station where I could get dress, a white vanity with a large mirror, a white dresser that was extremely large, my room also had a chandelier hanging from the top of the middle of the room, a large clock that was shaped into a castle tower, many curtains covered up the rooms windows, a large carpet was on the floor, the walls were white and rose gold, and I saw so many presents covering up the whole bed. Most of them were from my cousins I just met, and most were from students and rulers here in Auradon. I got a lot of new clothes, dresses, sweets and candy, crowns and jewelry with beautiful jewels, new shoes, and I saw a pile of text books that I will be using while I'm here. Most of the text books I saw were chemistry, mathematics, pirate sword fighting class, music, history of magic, and remedial goodness. I was more excited about taking pirate sword fighting class, but I was wondering what was remedial goodness. As I was looking threw my presents and class schedule, I saw something moving on my bed. I took off all of the presents off of my bed, and there I saw was a dog. It had light brown fur, brown eyes, and it had a collar on that said "Dude: The Campus Mutt". I looked at the puppy and said "Hey little guy, you look hungry. Here, have a bite of my oatmeal cookie." I gave the dog a bite of my oatmeal cookie from the gift basket I had on my bed. After he ate the cookie, he laid on his back on my bed. I knew that he wanted me to give him a belly rub. "Aww! You're so cute! Yes, you are.", I said as I gave Dude a belly rub. As I was still rubbing his belly, I heard my door knocking. When I went to open the door, I saw that it was that attractive boy I saw outside a while ago when I was getting settled into Auradon. He stood out the door for a moment while looking nervous at me, but I felt the same way when I saw him too. As we were still looking at each other, he finally spoke to me. "Um.. Hello your.... Highness. I heard Um.... That the campus mutt was in your room, so.. I.. Just wanted to come get him, if that's alright?" I then said "Uh sure, he's right there on top of my bed. My name is Genesis, by the way." "Genesis, huh? That's kinda pretty.", he said which made me blush. "My name is Jim, Jim Hawkins.", he said to me as I was smiling and still blushing. "Jim, huh? That's kinda pretty too.", I said which made him and me laugh. We both looked at each other again for a moment and then I finally spoke again. "Um! Well Jim, you can just call me Genesis for short. I don't like to be called "your highness" that much, it just sounds weird.", I said. "Weird? But you're a princess.", said Jim as he was stroking his hair. "Well with a large family where I'm from and a family that I didn't know I had here, I feel like I'm the only one who understands what's going on. After all, it's just me.", I said while still looking at Jim. "Ha! Just you?", said Jim as he was now looking at me. We both smiled at each other and looked in each other's eyes. I never seen such beautiful blue eyes before in my life. And I'm sure that he's never seen how beautiful my brown eyes were. He stroked my hair and said "Genesis, do you always have a beam in your eyes every time they shine in the light?" But as me and him were moving so close to each other's face, he stopped. "Oh right, I forgot! I need to get Dude into his dog house before Fairy Godmother wonders where I am.", said Jim as he snapped his fingers to tell Dude to come. Once he picked up Dude, he walked out the door. I walked over to him to say "good night". "Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow.", I said. He said to me "Yeah, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." But before I could say something else to him, Jim grabbed my hand and kissed it. "Until then, your highness.", he said. He then closed the door behind him and I just stood there blushing non stop. I think I had my first real crush on someone here. After a few minutes being super happy, I realized to myself that I was still tired after waking up at midnight before leaving home. I decided to sleep in for today just for a little bit. I slipped into my new blue pajamas that was a gift from my aunt Cinderella, and headed straight to bed. Even though I still felt home sick due to me leaving my parents and having a bit of their memories change, I still will be able to see them again when school is over. I turned off the lights and fell straight asleep, telling myself I would have a good life while I'm here. Nothing in the future could change this.
