It was the day after the incident at Tim Hortons. Aaron wanted to take me out somewhere nice for dinner, but I didn't have the appetite to eat. I agreed anyway because I wanted something to take my mind of what happened yesterday.
"Are you really okay?" Aaron asked for about the hundredth time.
I sighed, giving him a sidelong glance before turning back to look out the window beside me. I didn't feel like talking to anyone at the moment. I was still confused about who he was. He seemed so familiar yet like a complete stranger at the same time.
Seth.
The name itself seemed to make me feel lightheaded, like the very mention of it made me feel as if I were floating on air, but at the same time, like I was plummeting into the ground. His hurt expression flashed across my mind, making my heart clench. Why couldn't I remember him? Was, no, is he really my boyfriend?
I peeked at Aaron from the corner of my eye to see he had a calculating look on his face, then looked back outside the window. Maybe I should call my sister, she'd know the situation, right?
"Hey, Aaron?" I turned my head slowly in his direction again.
"Yeah?" He smiled at me.
"Do you think, I, um, can call my sister?" I asked.
"I don't-" His voice was cut off by the car abruptly screeching to a stop, making us lurch forward in our seats.
The seat belt cutting into my chest, knowing the air from my lungs. When the car came to a complete stop, we both got flung back into our seats, head knocking and rebounding from the head rest.
"What the-?" I had Aaron began to say, then looked out the front windshield and swore.
I followed his gaze, then frowned.

Seth didn't show up to class this morning. I wonder what happened... Was he still in London trying to convince Angel? Or did he fail? Did he succeed? What was happening? I tried calling him a million times, but he wouldn't answer, and it was the same with that stupid Aaron. Maybe I should try Amy..., but I doubt she'd know more than I do. He was probably ignoring her calls too...
"Next flight to London is now boarding. Please get to your boarding area in the next ten minutes."
Yup. I was in the airport. I was going to give Aaron a piece of my mind, then drag Angel back here whether she liked it or not, then knock some sense into her. I stood up, clutching my small carry-on duffel bag and headed towards the long line of passengers that were waiting to board the plane. I made my way to the end of the line, which was actually very far from the workers that checked our passport and tickets. I should have lined up earlier instead of mentally strangling Aaron to death. I sighed. Well, I guess this is going to quite a long wait...

I didn't feel very well that day so I stayed home. I walked out the front entrance in only mt pink silk night gown, a small and thin blanket wrapped around my shoulders so I don't get cold. I rubbed my sleepy eyes and looked around the yard. My eyes snapped to the gate, zeroing in on a weary looking Seth. He was stalking his way in my direction, his eyes red rimmed with deep shadows under them. I thought I couldn't get sick and I also thought guys couldn't cry, but I guess I was proved wrong twice today.
