Should I tell her?

Emily's POV

After awhile I woke up. I was so confused. I finally realized that I must have fallen asleep after the walk.

"Emily food is ready!!" My mom yelled. I was so hungry! I ran down stairs and sat at the kitchen table. She came over with Chicken and Mac n cheese. That's my favorite.

My mom came and sat down next to me. "So, you didn't really answer me today, All you said is that Maths was bad.. How was school in general? Did you meet anyone new?!" She asked.

I didn't really want to tell her about Asa but I just had to!! My mom gives the best advice, but she just takes it like I'm growing up, which I am, but still.

"Um yeah.. it was good" I said while taking a bite of my Mac n cheese. "And.." My mom said. Ugh here is comes again! "Did you meet anyone?"

Ughh she said it! "Um.. I guess you could call It that" I responded. "You guess?" she said. "No.. I know" I responded. Should I tell her about him or wait?? ugh I'll just tell her. "Did you meet a boy?!" She said in a "awh you're growing up way"

"Um.. yeah.. he's really nice" I said. "His name is...?" She responded taking a bite of chicken. Can we please just eat instead of talking about this? "Asa" I said. UGH ! why did I tell her!!? "Awhh tell me more" she responded. Whatever, I guess I will. "Well he has dark hair and baby blue eyes." I said. "You're dad looked just like that. He must be super cute" She said in a sad tone. She really misses my dad. I mean, I know I was just a little baby when he passed away, but I miss him too. "Yeah. he is" I responded.

After that we didn't talk anymore during dinner. It was to awkward and sad.

When I was finished I walked my plate over to the sink and set it in there. "Mom, I'm going to bed night"

"Night" She said still at the kitchen table looking down, she seemed so depressed.

I went up stairs, looked at the clock and read 9o'clock. When I say "I'm going to bed" it usually means "going up stairs and doing random stuff on my phone until I'm so tired that my phone drops on my face. THEN I go to bed"

I decided to take the note Asa gave me and make him a contact. It said "Asa <3" I'm going to secretly hide that.

To be honest, Asa is my first true love. I never really believed in all that "Love at first sight" crap, but now I do. Asa makes me able to believe in it. Cheesy I know.

I decided to text him.

"Hey Asa! It's me, Emily! :)"

Well I think that was a pretty good first text! After about 2 minutes I got a text back from him! Wow! He's quick!

Asa- Hey what's up?! tonight was fun!!

Me- Just laying in bed talking to you!

It was really fun! and your sister is the cutest little thing in the world!

Asa- Awh thank you, she could be a stinker sometimes though! We should hang out more often. Besides just in school.

Oh My God! Did Asa just say that!!?! AHHH! I tried to play it cool.

Me- yeah totally! that would be sweet!

Asa- Ok awesome!! Well, I'm going to bed now, I'll see you tomorrow! Night Em! <3

I think I'm about to die! Did he just put a heart??? Does this mean he likes me? or does he send hearts to everyone? That would be weird.. but who knows!

Me- Night Ace!

I layed my phone down on my stomach, looked up, Smiled and then closed my eyes. Suddenly I was in a deep sleep.
