We were blessed with.

Snow overnight.

That piled up on the ground.

I peered out the windows.

At the rolling hills.

Of white dust.

She was beyond excited.

To see the snow.

For it has never graced her presence.

Before.

She pressed her face up.

Against the glass like.

She was a kid in a candy store.

I wanted to stay inside.

But she insisted on me going out with her.

To share in her first snow experience.

Inside it was warm.

Inside it was safe.

But since when was she safe?

So I agreed.

Pulling on a jacket, gloves, boots.

Everything warm.

But she waited by the door for me.

Wearing nothing but a shirt.

And some shoes.

"You're going out in that?"

I was completely baffled.

She would freeze.

"Yeah, yeah! Now

Come on, hurry up!"

She whined impatiently.

I crossed my arms defiantly.

"You are not going out in that.

Put some clothes on."

"Uh, yes I am

So shove that up your nose!"

She replied.

She flung the door open.

And ran outside.

Where it wasn't safe.

This chick was absolutely insane.

I ran after her.

Picking her up in my arms.

And hauling her back inside.

"Hey! I wanna go back outside!"

She tried to squirm out of my hands.

But I held strong.

"You can go back outside.

After you put some clothes on."

I said putting her down.

We had an epic stare down.

Until she finally flipped me off.

And retreated upstairs.

Muttering, "Fine."
