Oh Crap

*Ash POV*

I walked into the cafeteria and sat down at my usual table. I laid my head down and sighed, Stephen

clearly was hurting without me but why should I care.....he rejected me in the beginning. The saddest

part though it hurts me more than it should to know he's in pain.

"Hey you Ash..." A voice hissed low into my ear making me shiver. I looked up to see Ronnie glaring

down at me.

"What do you want." I hissed back, laying my head back down but Ronnie grabbed hold of my shirt and

yanked me out of my seat. I let out a growl but he just rolled his eyes and dragged me to the back of the

lunch room. I wiggled in his grasp but it was no use, he was much stronger then I was. He stopped

dragging me when were out of sight from everyone else and slammed against the wall.

"Look here Ash it's because of you Stephen is hurting and if he's hurting then he can't lead his pack. So

dump your dumb ass boyfriend and go to Stephen your real mate." He growled, tightening his grip

around my throat. I let out a small whimper and Ronnie smirked in satisfaction. "If you don't go back to

Stephen soon I'm going to claim him for myself."

I don't know why but the thought of Ronnie claiming MY mate pissed me off. I growled deeper which

caused Ronnie to flinch back. I yanked myself from his grasp and punched him in the face. He stumbled

back and looked at me surprised before smirking and tossing his own fist but I caught it and twisted his

arm around his back. Ronnie yelped in pain causing me to laugh like a lunatic. Many people by now

gathered around us to watch the fight but the only person that caught my eye was Stephen who looked

broken.

"Ash let him go or you're going to break his arm." Someone said behind me. Two pair of arms wrapped

around me, pulling me away from Ronnie. I growled and struggled in their grasp but it was no use. Two

werewolves against one werewolf who hasn't changed yet isn't a fair match. I looked behind me to see

Lane and the guy from the club.....Bruce I think it was. Lane gave me a disapproving look as he pulled

me away from the crowed with the help of Bruce.

We ended up in the hallway where Nina was waiting. Once she saw me she wrapped her arms around

me sighing.

"What was that all about Ash you scared Lane and me?" she asked pulling away and nuzzling against

her mate.

"It was nothing you to worry about." I snapped at her. Lane glared at me and shook his head before

flicking my nose.

"Ash, you be nice to Nina she didn't do anything to you." Lane growled at me. Looked over at him and

growled back. I have no clue why I was acting like this but it just felt.....so damn good. Not feeling like a

weakling around other werewolves.

*Lane's POV*

I couldn't believe it, Ash my own lover growled at me but something was off Ash's sent has changed. His

eyes were much darker as well and his teeth look sharper too. The realization hit me; he was coming

close to his shifting stage within a couple of days no doubt about it.

"Bruce take Nina back to the lunch room, Ash and I are going home for the day." I said before grabbing

Ashes hand, pulling him out to me truck to take him home.
