"Excuse me sir, would you like to see Tommy before we bury him?" We straightened and I turned around to look at the woman standing their.

When we got outside I saw a coffin, as I walked up to it I saw Tommy's body laying inside it. I felt my nose get stuffy and hot tears filled my eyes. I coughed and told myself to suck it up. I took two of my fingers and pressed them against my lips, then I took them off and pressed them on Tommy's. I took three steps back as I watched them put the lid on his coffin and carry him away. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around. Tara was standing there tears running down her cheeks. She hugged me and I hugged her back. I felt her hot tears start to soak my shirt. I was happy I was holding Tara, and sad my dad and brother died. I was so conflicted.
