Amber and Zayn: Meet Me Halfway.

 ~ Amber's POV ~

"Yes, Katie, I'm coming!" I shouted down the phone at my annoying best friend Katie. We had an arrangement at Nando's and I was a little bit late, as always. So she called me, freaking out that there were some hot boys sitting at the table opposite her. So Katie.

"Well, hurry, Amber! I swear, they're so attractive! They look a little like - wait, how - AMBER, I'M SITTING NEXT TO FOUR FIFTHS OF ONE DIRECTION!"

I held the phone away from my ear to stop her deafening me. Then I let out a small squeal. One Direction were going to be at Nando's. I loved them - but Zayn took the cake home for me. 

"Amber, please hurry! I know I'll do something stupid if you're not here. Hurry, hurry! Oh my God, Niall's looking at me! He's winking at me! What do I do, Amber?! Please, please, please -"

I imagined Katie freaking right now, and pitied her, picking up my footsteps. I was approaching the corner away from Nando's.

"Tell you what, Kates. I suppose you're nearly passing out right now, so meet me halfway, okay? I'm around the corner. We can...compare flirty lines. Well, you can and I will roll my eyes." I offered, as I heard her agree and hang up the phone. I sighed, slipping my own iPhone into my pocket. I paused before dashing around the corner. All I saw was a blur as someone bashed into me. I flew through the air, landing on my ass on the hard concrete.

"Owww...." I moaned, picking myself up. "That bloody hurt!"

The person I bashed into, who I thought was Katie, but it wasn't started spouting apologies.

"I'm Zayn, I am so sorry, really -"

"Zayn Malik? That is not who is was expecting. I told Katie to meet me halfway, but-"

"You met me instead," Zayn finished, winking. I nodded blushing.

"You're pretty," He blushed, making me blush.

EVen though I have a throbbing pain in my back, it's worth it. Because Zayn Malik said I'm pretty.
