Song: How Would You Feel - Ed Sheeran

Hey there, Upper East Siders. I've got a bit of news for all of you. Looks like little Amber Archibald is going through a rough patch with Caleb Sterling. I was told she confronted him with a simple problem, and we all know Sterlings never take criticism well.

After a long day of school, you decided to meet Serena and Eric for a cup of coffee.

It was nice, but all you could think about was how bad you made Caleb feel. But, at the same time, he was being unreasonable. After all, you are supposed to confront people if you have a problem, aren't you?

Well, when you ordered, you spotted a few seats right by the window. There was a beautiful view of central park. It reminded you of your days with Carter, sneaking around in sunglasses and hats so as not to be caught. You would stand on Bow Bridge and look out onto the water hand in hand and gently kiss you with your arms around his neck. It broke your heart looking out right on that spot. He would tell you little personal things that not even his parents or closest friends knew.

But then you were brought to another thought. You used to be the sweet, attractive, and innocent sister of Nate Archibald. But you lost that innocent image with Carter. Nate still had no idea what you and Carter had been up to.

You looked out and saw what you thought was a familiar face in a restaurant across the street, but your eyesight was never too good. You squinted your eyes a bit: It was indeed Caleb. At first you thought he was just hanging out with some friends, but you saw long, brunette hair. Some girl that you didn't even know was hanging around with him.

Okay, sure. He had a friend that was a girl. However, you didn't want to be paranoid. It is okay for a guy to be friends with a girl.

But no. His arm was around her. Next thing you knew, he put his lips up to hers. She back off and took her hand, slapped him, and walked off.

Damn. How long was he hanging out with her? Had they kissed before? Your stomach felt sick. He had cheated on you, without him knowing it was right before your eyes.

He had cheated on you, without him knowing it was right before your eyes

"What's wrong?" Eric asked.

"Umm... nothing. I just... it's nothing."

"You sure?" Said Serena. You nodded.

Luckily, another familiar face showed up.

It was Carter. He had been walking in the park alone. And he saw everything. He knew you were dating Caleb, and when he saw Caleb kissing the other girl, and stormed over just like you wanted to do. You saw the rage in Carter's eyes, yet his eyes never landed on you. Carter's fist tightened and was soon planted right in Caleb's eye.

You couldn't help but laugh a little, the thought of seeing your ex smack your soon to be ex.

Serena spoke. "Eric, we've got to be home in a few minutes. Sorry Amber, I should have told you. We've got a dinner party and we need time to get ready."

"No, it's fine." They quickly grabbed their things and left you alone in the coffee shop. After they were gone, you looked up through the window. Carter was right up at the window, looking at the flowers in the window sill.

Suddenly your heart skipped a beat. His eyes went up from the flowers and those familiar devilish eyes were locked on yours. He just took a second to look at you; not smile; but simply look at you.

He seemed a bit heated, still from the whole thing with Caleb and that other girl, but heated as he was, he walked into the store.

As soon as he stepped in, he turned and walked right up to you.

His chest was puffed and right up to yours.

"Carter— You just—"

"I know."

He immediately brought his lips back up to yours. His hands were on your waist the way they had been before.

You both couldn't help but smile, eyes still locked.

Then you remembered something. "Hey, we never got around to doing that plan you suggested."

"Well, yes and no," he replied. "Everything's set up just in case."

"So, all we have to do is hook up right in front of her." You both laughed.

"I guess so."

All you wanted to do was kiss his pretty little face

All you wanted to do was kiss his pretty little face. "Are you free? Like right now?"

"I'll just get my coffee and then we can catch up."

*Time Skip*

You had been driving around the city with Carter, walking around and seeing all the beauties that Manhattan had to offer: Rockefeller center, numerous museums, Times Square. There was one sight left, right where you started.

"Why didn't we just go to Central Park when we were over here?" You asked.

"Because it's the most special place. It's kind of... our spot."

You kissed him from the Passenger seat and got out with him.

You walked around in your sunglasses, smiling and laughing. It was perfect. He had done some bad stuff back in the day. Nate must be too blind to see that he's changed.

He was sweet with you. He wasn't really this way around Nate, Dan, or Chuck, but you still found the way he talked to them quite attractive.

You made your way to Bow Bridge, your old favorite place to be with him. At the beautiful sight of the water and the city in the springtime, you couldn't keep your lips off him. He broke off the kiss to speak.

"Hey, look. This might change everything, but... I think I fall in love with you a little bit more every time I see you."

That was it.

He said it.

Carter Baizen was in love with you, and he finally gained the courage to confess it.
