A few hours later

Robin

"So Maleficent's... gone?" Snow asks as I stir my cup of coffee

"Yes, as far as we're aware" I nod, sighing at the many times she's asked me this already

"And Regina's pregnancy just randomly sped up when she died? How does that work?" David chips in

"I don't know mate, we're all confused by that" I sigh, my worry for Regina and my child increasing

The silence in the room is broken by the kitchen door opening; we all turn to find Zelena, a gentle smile on her face. I turn to Snow and David, asking them for some privacy, they nod and exit the room quietly, leaving Zelena and I alone.

"Is she alright?" I ask straight away

"She's fine, just a little bit shocked I think that she's gone from being 4 months to 9 months pregnant literally in a blink of an eye, she only has a couple of weeks to go before her due date" she explains

"But Maleficent can't hurt her anymore right? She's definitely gone?" I ask

"Yes, the potion destroyed her, for good this time, she's gone back to being a pile of ashes, and I assure you it's going to stay that way, now stop worrying and go and see Regina, she asked to see you" she nods, ushering me upstairs

"Hey babe" I smile gently as I open the bedroom door, sitting beside Regina and taking her hand in my own

"Hey" she whispers gently, a hand on her enlarged stomach

"How are you feeling?" I ask

"Tired, achy, the list goes on" she sighs

"And?" I frown, encouraging her to go on

"Scared"

"Why are you scared?" I ask

"Because Robin, I've gone from being 4 months pregnant to 9 months pregnant, I've not had any time to prepare, the nursery isn't done, I don't have clothes ready for her, an overnight bag for the hospital, nothing. I put it all on hold because I thought I had time and there was an evil witch on the loose and now I have no time at all!" she sighs

"Hey, hey, it's going to be okay, you know why? Because we're going to do this the way we do everything, together. We'll get everything sorted before our little one is here" I reassure her

"Are you sure?" she whispers, fatigue evident in her voice

"Yes, now get some sleep" I nod, kissing her forehead as her eyes close

Cruella

"Well now what are we going to do?! Maleficent is gone! I knew we shouldn't have relied on her!" Ursula growls

"Calm down darling, you're not the only one who feels betrayed" I mumble, pacing around the cave

"BETRAYED? BETRAYED? THIS WAS YOUR IDEA IN THE FIRST PLACE! YOU DECIDED TO RESURRECT MALEFICENT IN THE FIRST PLACE!" she yells

"Oh please, you were in on it as well dear, I can't take all the credit" I say sarcastically

"Why you little," she growls, reaching for my chest

"Now, now dears, let's not kill each other shall we?" a voice says from behind us

"You're back?" I frown at her

"Yes dears I am, Regina can't get rid of me that easily" Maleficent smiles

"Now, let's continue getting our revenge"
