Chapter 26

Zelena

"AHHH!! Zelena make it stop! Pleaseeee!" my sister begs as she pushes through yet another contraction

"Regina, you're doing fine, keep that going!" I encourage as I see the baby's head emerge and then disappear again

"I can't, I need Robin" she whimpers, tears running down her face

"I'm right here my love" I hear a voice say, the door opening and revealing Robin, making both Regina and I breathe a sigh of relief

"It's alright babe, you're alright" he reassures her, wrapping his arms around her tightly

"AHHH! Mmm! Jesus this hurts!" Regina cries again, crushing Robin's hand as she pushes

"That's it sis, keep that going!"

"OWWWW! IT BURNS! ZELENA IT BURNS!" she cries

"Regina, stop pushing for a minute, the baby's head is crowning, just try and breathe for me" I instruct her, rubbing her knee comfortingly

"AHHH! I can't!" she screams, the pain making her whole body shake

"Regina, look at me darling, it's okay" robin whispers, soothing her a little

"Okay Regina, I need a little push" I instruct as the baby's head comes further into view

"Huh! ZELENA PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!" my sister wails, crying into Robin's shoulder as she pushes again, the baby's head sliding out, making her slump back in relief

"Regina the head is out! One more push!" I encourage

"I can't do it anymore" she whimpers

"Yes you can my love, you can do this, our little one will be here soon" Robin reassures her, stroking her hair softly in an attempt to soothe her

And with that, a contraction overtakes her body, she bears down and ear piercing screaming escapes from her lips as the baby slides out, a wail escaping from it's mouth.

"Regina you did it! You have a beautiful little girl!" I cry, wiping the screaming baby down, tears welling up in my eyes

"Is she okay?" I hear her whimper, tears welling up in her own eyes as I hand her over to her gently

"She's fine perfectly healthy, well done sis" I smile, watching as she smiles at her little girl

"She's perfect" she whispers, leaning in to kiss Robin's lips softly

"Aww, a family reunion! How sweet!" a familiar voice cackles from behind me, making my blood turn to ice

"Robin, she's here!" Regina cries, holding the baby tighter in her arms

"You're not coming anywhere near them!" I growl, forming a fireball in my hand ready to throw at her

"Oh please Zelena, you know I'm more powerful than you, stop wasting your energy"

"Oh, we'll see about that!" I huff, throwing the fireball at her, pausing in fear as she stops it, throwing it back at me and knocking me to the floor, my eyesight suddenly going black

Regina

I watch as my sister is thrown to the floor, knocked unconscious. We're not going to win this fight. I hold my little girl closer to my chest, trying to protect her anyway that I can.

"You're not taking her" Robin says, holding his bow and arrow up to her face

"Oh please, you think an arrow is going to hurt me thief? Have you not just seen what I did to her?" Maleficent giggles, glancing over at Zelena

And with that, she flicks her wrist, knocking Robin to floor.

"ROBIN!" I cry

I'm alone, no one is here to help me; I'm trapped, unable to protect my baby from an evil sorceress.

"Now my dear, do I have to knock you out too just to get what I want? Or are we going to do this the hard way?" she whispers, reaching for my baby

All of a sudden, a strange tingling sensation courses through my body, a blast of magic shooting out from my hand, knocking her back against the wall. How the hell did that happen?

"I see we're doing things the hard way, as you wish!" she giggles, forming a fireball

"STAY AWAY FROM MY BABY!" I scream

And with that, another blast of magic shoots out of me, knocking her back. I watch as she crumples to the floor, her body turn into ashes once again. I did it. I defeated Maleficent. Somehow, I did it.

I'm pulled back to reality by my daughters cries, making me look down at her beautiful face, checking that she's okay and hasn't been hurt.

"Hey, hey, shh, it's okay sweetheart, you're okay, no one is going to hurt you anymore" I whisper, stroking her face softly to stop her crying

"Regina! Are you okay? What happened?" Robin gushes, checking me and the baby over

"Maleficent, she's gone, she's not going to hurt anyone anymore" I smile

"How did you do it?" Zelena frowns

"Somehow my magic came back" I shrug

"The baby" Zelena whispers

"What?" I frown

"The baby gave you the magic to help you defeat maleficent" She says

"Zelena, the baby doesn't have magic" I sigh

"No, think about it, the baby is a product of true love and has a mixture of light and dark, hero and villain, that's a lot of power, which is why Maleficent wanted the baby for the time travel spell" she explains

"She did this? She saved us?" I whisper, looking down at my sleeping little girl

"Guess she takes after her mummy" Robin smiles, kissing my forehead softly

"So what's her name going to be sis?" Zelena asks

"I think, Isabella Hope Locksley will do perfectly" I smile, looking up at Robin for approval

"I couldn't agree more" he smiles, back kissing my lips softly

Okay guys so that's it for this fanfiction! I'm so, so sorry I haven't updated in ages! Been so busy with college and stuff that I just haven't had time! But I promise that I'm going to be writing more over the summer, in fact, I already have my new OQ fanfiction ready to go which will be up soon, which is called 'Happy endings'.
