A few hours later

Zelena

"Why does this have to be so complicated?!" I growl, staring at the list of ingredients and complicated instructions

"Well it is magic isn't it?" I hear a familiar voice say from behind me

"Oh Robin hi, shouldn't you be with Regina?" I sigh, continuing to follow the instructions

"Yes I was, but she insisted that I come and check on you, she wouldn't sleep if I didn't so here I am, it was either I come or she'd go by herself" he shrugs

"Well that definitely sounds like her so she must be alright!" I giggle

"Yes I guess so, but seriously though, is this potion going to work? Can we defeat Maleficent using this potion? Do we even know what she wants the baby for?" he asks, concern growing in his voice

"Well the potion should work, it's designed to defeat people like her, it's just making it that's tricky, as for what she wants the baby for, well, that's a mystery to all of us, the amount of curses and spells involving babies would surprise you, I called Belle earlier and asked her to do some research to get some answers, I'm assuming it's a curse or a spell to get revenge on Regina since she kept saying that she wanted to hurt her but there are many ways to get revenge on a person through magic" I explain

"But we can fix it though right?" he asks in alarm

"Yes, Robin, nothing is going to happen to Regina or your baby, I promise, we're going to figure this out, one way or another" I reassure him

"Now I think I've done all I can manage for today, let's go home" I sigh, packing everything away and exiting the vault

"I'm just going to go and check on Regina, make sure she's okay and everything" I decide, kicking my shoes off in the doorway

"I'll make some coffee" robin decides, heading into the kitchen as I head up the stairs

I knock hesitantly on the door and head inside, watching as my sisters eyes open slowly, trying to figure out where she is.

"Hey you" I smile, sitting beside her and taking her hand in mine

"Hey" she whispers

"How are you feeling?" I ask

"Sore" she mumbles tiredly

"You mind if I take a look at your back?" I ask

"Sure" she nods, rolling over with my help

"The bruising is coming out nicely now, it will be a bit sore so keep taking the painkillers over the next few days but no serious damage" I smile, turning her back over

She nods silently

"You okay?" I ask, noticing something is off with my sister

"Yes, just a little bit sore and baffled that Robin's back, I never thought he would come back after 'Marian' came back, I thought I would be alone with his baby" she sighs

"I know sis, but he does love you, you wouldn't have been alone anyway you'd have had me" I shrug

"I know, and I still do" she giggles

"Come on you, get some rest, if your back feels a bit better tomorrow we can start on the potion" I smile, wrapping the covers around her

"Goodnight sis" I add

"Goodnight Zelena" she whispers back, her eyes closing softly

I am so sorry for the lack of updates and also the poor quality of the chapters! I've been so busy with college and home life and I've had an extreme case of writers block so I sincerely apologise for the awful chapters! I'm trying to get on track of everything again so that I can update more! thank you for all your support! :)
