Ray's POV

I was chillin with my cousins playing call of duty black ops and eating chips when the doorbell rung . I got up and answered it to see someone that was the last person I wanted to see.

"Mom" -

The thoughts going through my head were endless. Why is she here? how did she get here? . I know that's my mother but we never had that relationship. She was never around and when she was she would either be high or drunk. My mother was a Hoe wait correction is a hoe.

"Hi ray" She said with a smile. I didn't smile back

"What are you doing here?" I asked in a low tone.

" Well it is Christmas and I'm here to celebrate with the family" she said. Wither I like it or not she's here and I just have to accept it. I let her in and closed the door after her. China walked up to her an hugged her as my mother hugged back. China doesn't care she thinks that mom was just misunderstood when I think complete opposite.

"Hey mama" China said with a smile happy to see her

"Hey chi chi how you been?" she asked . O so now she wants to play the mommy role.

"I've been fine " china said as grandma came in looking surprised .

"Kia what a surprise" Grandma said and my mother smiled

"Hey mama"

"Well come on in this kitchen child you look hungry ya sisters are here" Grandma said and my mother followed. China turned to me

"Why you gotta be like that " She asked with attitude

"Chi don't start you know why mama an I don't get along ok so just drop it" I said an walked away

Naveens POV

We came back to the house laughing and talking about things getting to know each other more. Mia is real cool she's like a older teenager trapped in a young adults body. she got me this game that I wanted for my computer. and some clothes. anyway we walked into the kitchen and I didn't expect to see auntie Kia there .

"Omg is that you Naveen " Aunt Kia asked with a smile and hugged me. I hugged back it was kinda awkward .

"Heeeeyyyy ....... what are you doing here?????" I asked slowly but trying not to be rude.

"Christmas ...family ....you know" She said and I nodded "O cool well ima gonna go check on ray ray but its nice seeing you" I said going upstairs before she could respond. Ray and I are close and he tells me everything so I know that him and aunt Kia don't have a good relationship. I found him sitting on the couch in the game room watching TV. He looked pissed but at the same time in deep thought.

" Ray you aight" I asked and he laughed

"What do you think" He said an I sat next to him

"You wanna talk about it?" I asked and he looked at me and sighed

"Why is she here" he asked "maybe she wanted to spend time with the family this year ....see you and china" I said

"But she knows we don't get along she basically ruined my christmas by being here" He said and I sighed

"Ray I know y'all don't have the relationship that y'all want but either way she is still your mother. Look at me and my mom . Is out relationship solid ??? Hell no not even close but she's still my mom and even tho I may dislike her I still respect her. She may make some dumbass choices but hey she's my mom. And I understand why you feel the way you feel I really do. But you still have to respect her." I said an he sighed

"How can I respect her when all she did when I was a kid was drink smoke and fuck. "he said

"You have a point but ray you wouldn't even be here if it want for her and at least she's actually trying to have a relationship with you . My mom doesn't even talk to me fo real fo real .she doesn't give me advise like she should. We don't spend any time together. But hey at least auntie Kia try's." I said ....he was quite for a little bit.

"You have a point but it's just so hard letting people that done you wrong before let them back into your life" He said and I agreed

"It is trust me I know but at the end it's worth it you see that they actually changed and maybe aunt Kia changed I mean she looks better." I said and he smiled

"You know your my best friend right" he said and I smiled

"Yeah I know" I said as he hugged me from the side.

"Well dinners almost ready you can come down when you want or I can fix you a plate" I said getting up

"Ill be down" he said and I nodded going back downstairs .

Jared's POV

"Mmmm Jared" Mia moaned as I kissed her on her neck finding her soft spot. We were in the bedroom.

"So how was the mall" I asked as she was sitting on my lap ( facing him)

"It was really fun your sister is as awesome as you say she is" Mia said with a smile

"Oh really cause that's what she told me about you " I said as she got excited


"Really?" she asked as I chuckled

"Yeah really actually everyone likes you my grandma said your a real sweetheart" I said as she kissed me.

"O yeah" she said through the kiss "yeah" I said back

"Well let me show you how sweet I can be" She said as we started a make out session.

"What about you saying not in my grandmas house" I asked as she giggled

" Don't worry it's just a quckie " She said

"What about ....." I trailed off running her stomach.

"Don't worry it's fine and plus. The doctor recommends it" She said ....lets get it

30 minutes later

Ray's POV

Christmas Eve dinner . Everything looked so good. China was sitting by my mom Ashley and Naveen were sitting next to each other and I was sitting next to Ashley we were eating and having our own independent conversations. Jared and Mia were talking and laughing.

"So who is this Jared"My mother asked and I groaned see this is where china gets this shit from my mom always tries to start shit.

"this is my friend" Jared with a small smile in his face.

"oh nice......ray when are you going to find a girl like Jared instead of those little tramps that be on them corners.

I instantly dropped my fork at what she said and thought about Dana.

"you know what "mom" this is why we never get along because your always starting SHIT, just leave me the hell alone and go fuck one of your side niggas." I yelled at her in frustration

"Boy I am still your mother you ain't gonna talk to me any kind of way"

"When have you ever been. You have never been there for us. China am I had to be on our own while you were off doing whatever " I said

"That's enough!!!!" My grandmother yelled . I just looked at my mother

"Now you may be my mother .....But you will never be my Mom. "

" I hate you" I said with pure hatred

everyone had looked shocked from my outburst. I walked up the stairs to my room with Naveen hot on my tail and just started crying my eyes out because i was pissed I sat down by the window and just looked out the window.

"I know that she has done wrong in the past and what she said at the table was pretty Bitchie ......but she loves you and deep ....deep down I know that you love her to" Naveen said as she trailed off

"I hate seeing you like this just as much as you hate seeing me like that . Ray I love you latke your my brother but your gonna have to step up if you wanna make things right" She said waiting for a response. I could tell she was getting annoyed.

"You know what . When you feel like actually talking to me instead of letting me sit here and look like a dumbass trying to help you then come to me. But until then your on your own!" She said and walked away. Now I feel bad. But I guess she has a point.
