The words left his mouth , a barely audible whisper . A strange sensation clenched at his chest .
For the longest time , he didn't hear a response . The all too familiar silence surrounded him again , but yet , it wasn't familiar anymore .
She was gone . She had saved herself from whatever was to come , from whatever curse he could've brought upon her .
He slowly straightened himself , only to come into contact with something that scared him .
