I look back to find the Decepticon gaining on me. No way am I going to outrun him. Just when I think I'm going to become Flat Lei, Bumblebee comes flying out from the trees, tackling the Decepticon. Before the Decepticon can react, Bumblebee blasts his head, burning the circuits and other wires that kept it alive.

I put my hands on my knees, catching my breath from running so hard.
"Thanks, Bumblebee," I say between gasps of air. Bumblebee beeps a "you're welcome" at me before scooping me up and carrying me in his hand to where Arcee and Jake, who looks like he just made it, are waiting for us. Bumblebee sets me down by Jake.
"I think our scouting mission is over. Let's go and report back to Optimus before more Decepticons find us," I say, helping Jake stand.
"Can you ride Arcee back?" I ask him. Jake nods.
Bumblebee and Arcee transform, and Jake and I get on/in our partners.
"Let's roll out, team," I say, relaxing back into my seat. In seconds, I'm fast asleep.
