Okay! Before we get on with this chapter, can someone please tell me what's wrong with the title?
Don't see anything wrong with it? Well then...
I think it's time to learn the difference between loose and lose.
I say this now because I see these two words mixed up constantly here on Wattpad, and it needs to stop.
Now, here's the definitions from a simple google search:
Lose | lo͞oz
verb
1.be deprived of or cease to have or retain (something)."I've lost my appetite"
2.become unable to find (something or someone)."I've lost the car keys"Loose | lo͞os
adjective
1.not firmly or tightly fixed in place; detached or able to be detached."a loose tooth"
2.(of a garment) not fitting tightly or closely."she slipped into a loose T-shirt and shorts"
verb
1. set free; release. "the hounds have been loosed"See the difference?
If it's hard to remember, maybe use this method (it helps me):
Loose: two oo's make it too big
Lose: You lose if you're single (this one hurts sometimes lol)
Hopefully this helps people. I'm tired of seeing these words switched up.
